Day 1: AMSTERDAM
Arrival in Amsterdam and private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 7 nights, with breakfast.
In the late afternoon, meet the representative at the hotel reception for a private tour on a historic boat, the Saloon Boats, with a guide in English or Spanish (subject to availability), through the Amsterdam Canals. Saloon Boats are floating relics that have a long history in Amsterdam. They were used by Dutch traders from the Golden Age in the 17th century. 2-hour
sailing to explore the Amstel River, Skinny Bridge, and historic 17th century canals. Non-alcoholic drinks and Dutch snacks will be served on board.
After the tour, disembark at the canal and return to the hotel.
Note: The boat tour is subject to the time of arrival in the city - up to 14:00.
Day 2: AMSTERDAM
After breakfast at the hotel, private full-day tour with guide in English or Spanish (subject to availability).
Visit the Jordaan neighborhood and pass through the Negen straatjes, also known as “Nine Streets”, a collection of cobblestone streets filled with shops, hidden cafés and quaint boutiques. Here you can feel the essence of Amsterdam's unique mix of culture and lifestyle.
Continue to the Hofjes, hidden courtyards surrounded by historic houses, especially the Begijnhof - one of the oldest hofjes in Amsterdam - and the imposing Westerkerk Church with its Westertoren tower, which offers panoramic views of the city.
Then continue along Spiegelgracht, where antique shops line the canal, offering treasures from the past.
Finally, visit the famous Rijksmuseum, a world-renowned institution that houses a vast collection of masterpieces from the Dutch Golden Age, including works by Vermeer, Rembrandt, and many others.
Return to the hotel.
Day 3: AMSTERDAM
After breakfast at the hotel, private half-day tour with a guide in English or Spanish (subject to availability) through Jodenbuurt, the former Jewish quarter.
Known as “Mokum” in Hebrew, Amsterdam was a paradise for Jews for a long time, where Jewish communities sought refuge in a world that constantly persecuted them. Today, it's impossible to separate the history of Amsterdam from the Jews and their culture.
Visit the Jewish History Museum and Jodenbuurt, a village used as housing for Jews from all over Europe during the Dutch Golden Age. It includes a visit to the Silent Monument and the impressive Portuguese Synagogue.
End the tour in front of the Rembrandt House Museum, the house where the painter Rembrandt lived and worked between 1639 and 1658. Opportunity to visit the museum independently (includes tickets).
Return to the hotel independently.
Day 4: AMSTERDAM
Breakfast at the hotel and free day for independent activities.
Suggested optional activities:
- Visit the city's outstanding museums, such as the Van Gogh Museum, Our Lord in the Attic Museum, the Stedelijk Museum, and the Anne Frank House.
Day 5: AMSTERDAM - ZAANSE SCHANS - VOLENDAM - MARKEN - AMSTERDAM
After breakfast at the hotel, private full-day tour, with guide in Portuguese and driver in English, through the interior of the Netherlands.
Departure to the village of Zaanse Schans, where windmills and original houses from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries are still in operation. Visit the Zaans Museum, which features a collection of regional clothing, windmill models, and interactive exhibits.
Then, visit the craft workshops, with wooden clog carving, barrel making, and tin molding. Opportunity to visit a Dutch cheese factory and an authentic 18th century windmill. In the
afternoon, departure to Volendam, a picturesque fishing village filled with cafés and restaurants, where you can try local flavors such as fish, seafood and the famous Stroopwafel (Dutch biscuit).
Continue to Marken Island, a peninsula on Lake Markermeer. Learn about the specific architecture of fishermen's houses, folklore, and village traditions.
At the end of the visit, meet the driver to go to a charming cheese farm and, from there, return to the hotel in Amsterdam.
Day 6: AMSTERDAM - KEUKENHOF GARDENS - AMSTERDAM Breakfast and meeting with the guide at the
hotel reception. Departure for a tour of about 5 hours through the Keukenhof Gardens, the largest and most important garden in the Netherlands. With over 7 million tulips and over 3,000 different species, it's impossible not to be amazed by the explosion of colors.
After the tour, continue to a tulip farm to stroll through its fields adorned with tulips of various shapes and sizes, creating a mosaic of vibrant colors.
Return to the hotel in Amsterdam.
Note: It is recommended to wear closed shoes, such as boots, as there may be mud in the tulip fields.
Day 7: AMSTERDAM - THE HAGUE - DELFT - AMSTERDAM
After breakfast, meet the guide at the hotel reception for a private full-day tour of The Hague and Delft.
Visit the oldest Parliament, still in operation, in Europe and the Mauritshuis Museum, focused on the works of painters such as Vermeer, Rembrandt and other important painters of the Golden Age, such as Jan Steen.
After the visit and lunch (not included), panoramic tour of the city's main tourist attractions, such as the Noordeinde Palace, where the King of the Netherlands works, and the International Court of Justice to visit the World War II and the Eternal Flame of Peace memorials.
Continue to the charming city of Delft and an opportunity to discover the art of Dutch blue ceramics at the Royal Delft Museum. Originating from the influence of Chinese porcelain, it gained immense popularity among the Dutch who began to reproduce this style, marking the beginning of a captivating artistic tradition.
Finally, a panoramic tour of the city center with the opportunity to observe the Nieuwe Kerk, a historic church on Dam Square, is renowned for its Gothic architecture and its role in royal events, including coronations and weddings of the Dutch royal family.
Return to the hotel in Amsterdam.
Day 8: AMSTERDAM
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private transfer to Amsterdam airport or train station.
