Experience-filled travel itinerary to discover the best of Java and Bali!
DAY 1: JAKARTA
Arrival in Jakarta and private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, is considered the country's political, economic, and cultural center. The metropolis offers a rich cultural and historical experience, in addition to its culinary diversity, ranging from local dishes, such as nasi goreng, to international gastronomic experiences. The city is also known for its lively nightlife and diverse shopping options.
DAY 2: JAKARTA/YOGYAKARTA
Breakfast and hotel check-out.
Departure for a private tour, with a guide in Spanish, to the temples of Jakarta, the Chinese Quarter, the Kota Intan Bridge, a symbol of colonial heritage, to the Sunda Kelapa port, an important commercial center of the Sunda Kingdom before the Dutch colonization.
Then, visit the Jakarta History Museum (Fatahillah Museum), which houses more than 23 thousand objects from prehistory to modern times, and the Puppet Museum (Wayang Museum), dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich tradition of wayang, Indonesian puppets used in traditional theatrical performances.
Continue to Jakarta airport to board a flight to Yogyakarta (not included).
Yogyakarta is a vibrant cultural center, renowned for its traditional Javanese arts, such as batik and shadow theater. The city houses the Sultan's Palace, reflecting its historical roots, as well as being close to archaeological landmarks such as Borobudur and Prambanan.
Arrival and private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 3: YOGYAKARTA - BOROBUDUR - YOGYAKARTA
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for a private tour with a guide in Spanish.
Visit the Borobudur Temple, the largest Buddhist monument in the world and one of the most important archaeological sites in Southeast Asia. It consists of nine stacked platforms, six square and three circular, crowned by a central dome.
Then, visit the Candi Pawon Temple, which despite not being large, the quality and delicacy of the carved ornaments are remarkable, and the Candi Mendut Temple, famous for its three large stone statues inside the main chamber.
Stop for lunch (without drinks). Visit to the Sultan's Palace (Kraton Ngayogyakarta), where each architectural and decorative element has a symbolic meaning related to the Javanese worldview. Continue to Kota Gede, the “cradle of the Mataram Empire”, famous for its rich history, culture, and silver craftsmanship.
DAY 4: YOGYAKARTA - SOUTH BALI
Breakfast and hotel check-out. Visit the Prambanan Hindu temple complex, one of the largest and most impressive in Indonesia. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is dedicated to Trimurti, an expression of the three main Hindu deities: Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva.
Continue to Yogyakarta airport to board a flight to Bali (not included).
Arrival and private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 5: SOUTH BALI
Breakfast at the hotel. Private full-day tour, with guide in Spanish, to nearby regions.
Presentation of the Barong and Kris dance, a traditional dance that tells the story of the eternal struggle between good and evil, represented through mythical characters, dramatic movements and engaging music. Then, visit the Goa Gajah cave, famous for its entrance carved with the image of a demon with its mouth open.
Stop for lunch (without drinks) at a local restaurant.
Soon after, visit Tegallalang, known for its terraced rice fields, and Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple, famous for its peaceful atmosphere with carefully maintained gardens, ponds and water fountains.
DAY 6: SOUTH BALI
Breakfast at the hotel and free morning for independent activities.
In the afternoon, visit the Uluwatu temple to observe the sunset, followed by a Kecak dance show, an emblematic cultural performance from Bali that narrates the Ramayana through rhythmic “cak” chants by a large male choir, without the use of instruments.
Dinner (without drinks) at Jimbaran Beach.
DAY 7: SOUTH BALI - LOVINA
Breakfast and hotel check-out. Private transfer to Lovina.
Along the way, visit the Taman Ayun temple, with beautiful architecture and landscaped gardens, and the Kedaton forest of the sacred monkeys, the monkeys are believed to be the guardians of the temple located inside the forest. Then, visit the Tanah Lot temple, located in a rock formation in the sea off the coast, symbolizing the deep relationship between the Balinese, religion and the island's natural environment.
Stop for lunch (without drinks). Continue to Bedugul for a visit to the fruit and flower market and the Ulun Danu Temple on Lake Beratan.
Arrival at the hotel in Lovina. Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
DAY 8: LOVINA - CANDIDASA
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, private transfer to Candidasa.
Along the way, visit the Pura Beji temple dedicated to Dewi Sri, the goddess of rice and fertility, known for its unique architecture and meticulously sculpted decoration.
Stop for lunch (without drinks) at a local restaurant.
Then visit the Besakih Temple, known as the Mother Temple of Bali, which is the largest and most important temple complex on the island. Located on the slopes of Mount Agung, the highest volcano in Bali.
Passage through the village of Sidemen, with breathtaking landscapes of the island, and arrival at Candidasa. Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
DAY 9: CANDIDASA - UBUD
Breakfast and hotel check-out. Private transfer to Ubud.
During the trip, visit the Tenganan village, inhabited by the Bali Aga people, considered to be the original inhabitants of Bali. They preserve a lifestyle and traditions that differ from the cultural practices adopted in Bali. Next, visit the Goa Lawah temple, known as the Bat Cave Temple, an important sacred site within Balinese Hinduism.
Soon after, visit the fishing village Kusamba, famous for its fishing and salt pans, and Taman Gili, which is part of the former courthouse of the Kingdom of Klungkung, one of the most important kingdoms in Bali before Dutch colonization.
Stop for lunch (without drinks) and continue to the hotel in Ubud.
Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 10: UBUD
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day for independent activities.
DAY 11: UBUD
After breakfast and hotel check-out, private transfer to Denpasar airport.
