New Delhi, Rishikesh
Experience the tranquility of an ashram in Rishikesh, with daily yoga and meditation practices, as well as discovering the history and culture of New Delhi and Haridwar.
DAY 1: NEW DELHI
Arrival in New Delhi. Reception by the local representative and transfer to the hotel for accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast. Upon arrival, guests receive a non-alcoholic beverage and a silk scarf as a welcome gift.
Delhi, or New Delhi, is the capital of India and an important gateway to the country. It is a metropolis that combines the old and the modern.
DAY 2: NEW DELHI/DEHRADUN - RISHIKESH
After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, transfer to Delhi airport for boarding a flight to Dehradun.
Arrival and transfer to the Ashram in Rishikesh in a journey of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Accommodation for 5 nights, with full board.
The Ashram offers individual and group meditation, hatha yoga, pranayama and yoga philosophy programs, with the possibility of adjusting the length of stay.
Day 3 to 6: RISHIKESH
Days of activities, according to the Ashram's daily schedule (subject to change).
Daily Ashram Schedule:
- 05:30: Prayer;
- 05:45 - 07:30: Exercises to improve joints;
- 07:30 - 08:00: Meditation;
- 08:00 - 09:00: Breakfast (in silence);
- 09:00 - 10:00: Karma yoga;
- 10:30 - 12:00: Philosophy class;
- 12:15 - 12:45: Breathing class;
- 13:00 - 14:00: Lunch (in silence);
- 14:00 - 16:00: Rest/Notes/Relaxation;
- 16:00 - 16:15: Tea;
- 16:30 - 17:45: Ha-tha yoga;
- 18:00 - 18:45: Meditation;
- 19:00 - 19:45: Dinner (in silence);
- 20:00 - 21:00: Afternoon program, followed by evening prayer.
DAY 7: RISHIKESH - HARIDWAR - RISHIKESH
After breakfast and check-out from the Ashram, transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
Meeting with a guide for a half-day tour, with an English-speaking guide, in Rishikesh, a city filled with temples, where pilgrims take a sacred dive and puja ceremonies in the Triveni Ghat. Continuation to Bharat Mandir, the oldest temple in Rishikesh dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the Chandreshwar temple and the Hanuman Mandir.
In the afternoon, travel to Haridwar to visit Har-Ki-Paudi and a live aarti ceremony on the Ganges River.
DAY 8: RISHIKESH - DEHRADUN/NEW DELHI
Breakfast, hotel check-out and transfer to Dehradun airport for boarding a flight to Delhi. Arrival and transfer to the hotel.
Along the way, a panoramic tour with an English-speaking guide in Delhi. Passage through the President's House, India Gate, government buildings, and the House of Parliament.
Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
DAY 9: NEW DELHI
After breakfast and hotel check-out, transfer to Delhi airport.
