Extension to Kashmir
Srinagar

Package located on the shores of the beautiful Dal Lake, considered the life of Srinagar, in the Kashmir Valley. This is the India that few know about.
Day 1: Srinagar Upon arrival
in Srinagar, reception and transfer to the Floating House, for accommodation for 4 nights, with full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner).
In the afternoon, ride a Shikara (local boat) on Lake Dal.
The famous saying in Srinagar goes: “If there is a paradise on earth, it is here”. The beautiful Dal Lake is the lifeblood of Srinagar and is connected to other lakes in the Kashmir Valley, encompassing an area of 18 km 2.
Day 2: Srinagar
After breakfast, visit the Shankaracharya Temple, located at 1,100 meters above sea level. According to legend, Raja Gopadatya commissioned the construction of this temple in 371 BC and at that time it was known as Gopadri. When Shankaracharya went to Kashmir to restore traditional Hinduism in the tenth century, he settled in this temple. That's where your name comes from.
Visit to the Mughal and Shalimar Gardens. The great Muslim Mughal dynasty ruled India from the early 1500s to the mid-1800s. It had brilliant emperors, who left impressive traces of splendour in the country. The Mughals loved Srinagar, the tranquility of Lake Dal and the coolness of the green slopes that surround it.
A rickshaw ride (15 minutes) takes you to the parks built by the Mughals: Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh. Water is the protagonist in the gardens, absorbing the chaos of the city and highlighting the sounds of nature.
Day 3: Srinagar - Pahalgam - Srinagar
After breakfast, visit Pahalgam. At an altitude of 2,130 meters and at a distance of about 95 kilometers from Srinagar, Pahalgam is probably the most populous city in the Kashmir Valley. Since it's located lower than Gulmarg, nighttime temperatures don't drop as much and it has the extra advantage of the Lidder River flowing through the city. Pahalgam is situated at the confluence of the rivers and the Aru Sheshnag lake, and is surrounded by pine trees and mountains with snow-capped peaks. It was a humble village with stunning views, but now it's the best resort in Kashmir, cool and pleasant even at the height of summer.
Day 4: Srinagar - Sonmarg - Srinagar
After breakfast, drive to Sonmarg, synonymous with tranquil, flowery meadows surrounded by breathtaking glaciers, snow fields and pine trees. 80 kilometers from Srinagar are some of the highest mountains in the world. These snowy peaks that reflect the sun's rays give a glowing effect to the entire valley. This is why the mountain station is called Sonmarg or Sonamarg, which literally means “golden fields”.
Free afternoon for shopping or optional activities.
Day 5: Srinagar
After breakfast, transfer to the airport.
