Explore the wonders of Tuscany and Rome on an itinerary that combines historic cities, enchanting landscapes and the best of Italian culture.
Day 1 (10/03/2026): ROME
Arrival in Rome and presentation on behalf of the hotel. Accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast.
Rome, the capital of Italy, is renowned for its archaeological sites, squares, and historic monuments. The city includes buildings from ancient Rome, the Renaissance period and the Baroque era, and is an important religious, political and cultural center.
In the evening, welcome dinner at the hotel restaurant, with selected beverages.
Day 2 (11/03/2026): ROME
Breakfast at the hotel. Half-day private group tour of the historic center of Rome with a guide in Portuguese or Spanish (subject to availability and confirmation).
Visit to Piazza del Popolo, Via Margutta with its art galleries and studios, Fontana della Baraccia (Piazza di Spagna), the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon and Piazza Navona.
Return to the hotel and free afternoon for independent activities.
Day 3 (12/03/2026): ROME - VATICAN - ROME
After breakfast at the hotel, departure for a half-day tour of the Vatican city, with a guide in Portuguese or Spanish (subject to availability and confirmation).
Visit the Vatican Museums where you can find some of the most famous works in the world, such as the frescoes on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, the Creation of Michelangelo, and the Last Judgment fresco on its altar.
Then, visit St. Peter's Basilica, considered the most important church in Christianity.
Return to the hotel in Rome and free afternoon for independent activities.
Day 4 (13/03/2026): ROME - FLORENCE
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Regular transfer to Rome train station to board a high-speed train bound for Florence.
Arrival and regular half-day gastronomic tour at the Central Market, with a guide in Portuguese or Spanish (subject to availability and confirmation). The Florence Central Market is located in a cast-iron building dating from 1874 and houses several vendors specializing in the main ingredients of Tuscan cuisine.
In the afternoon, walk around the historic center of Florence, with a visit to Piazza della Repubblica, Piazza della Signoria, the political center of the city since the Middle Ages, the Duomo and the Ponte Vecchio.
Arrival at the hotel and accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
Day 5 (14/03/2026): FLORENCE
Breakfast at the hotel and free day for independent activities.
Day 6 (15/03/2026): SIENA - FLORENCE - TUSCANY - SAN GIMIGNANO - SIENA
Breakfast, check-out at the hotel and private transfer of the group to the hotel in Siena. During the trip through the beautiful Tuscan countryside, stop at a biodynamic family farm near San Gimignano, for truffle hunting with experienced hunters and their dogs.
Lunch at the farm, with dishes prepared with the harvested truffles - includes organic wines and olive oils from the property.
In the afternoon, visit the walled city of San Gimignano, known for its 14 medieval towers, and tour its historic center with a local guide.
Arrival in Siena and accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast.
Note: Truffle hunting is subject to weather conditions.
DAY 7 (16/03/2026): SIENA
After breakfast at the hotel, half-day walking tour of the historic city center, with a guide in Portuguese or Spanish (subject to availability and confirmation).
Visit the Cathedral covered with colored marble, the Piccolomini Library to observe some of Pinturicchio's most important works, and the Piazza del Campo, one of the best-known squares in Italy, where the Palio horse races take place.
Return to the hotel and free afternoon for independent activities.
DAY 8 (17/03/2026): SIENA - PIENZA - VAL D'ORCIA - SIENA
After breakfast at the hotel, private full-day group tour in Val d'Orcia, also known as the Orcia Valley, with a guide in Portuguese or Spanish (subject to availability and confirmation).
Stop in Pienza to walk through its streets and visit Palazzo Piccolomini with its Renaissance-style garden.
Arrival in Val d'Orcia and lunch (without drinks) at a local restaurant, with tasting of local cheeses and cold cuts.
Then, visit a family-run organic winery, which produces the world-renowned Brunello di Montalcino wine (includes a tasting).
Return to the hotel in Siena.
DAY 9 (18/03/2026): SIENA - ROME
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private transfer for the group to the hotel in Rome.
Arrival and accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
In the afternoon, half-day tour of the city's main tourist attractions, with a guide in Portuguese or Spanish (subject to availability and confirmation). Visit the famous Colosseum, with its amphitheater that accommodated 50,000 spectators and where the gladiators prepared for battles, and the Roman Forums, an extensive area with monumental squares and several buildings built between 46 BC and 113 AD, which formed the center of political activities in ancient Rome.
DAY 10 (19/03/2026): ROME
Breakfast at the hotel and free day for independent activities.
In the evening, dinner (excluding drinks) at a local restaurant.
11TH DAY (20/03/2026): ROME
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Self-presentation at the airport.
