Discover Sicily on this 8-day itinerary, exploring its main cities. Be enchanted by the region's unique architecture, history, and cuisine, including breathtaking views of Mount Etna and picturesque beaches along the coast.
DAY 1: Palermo
Arrival in Palermo and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
Palermo is a city on the island of Sicily, southern Italy, renowned for its rich history, diverse cultural influences, and unique Sicilian cuisine.
DAY 2: Palermo - Monreale - Palermo
After breakfast at the hotel, full-day tour with a guide in Spanish or Portuguese (subject to availability and confirmation) to the historic center of the city.
Visit the Palatine Chapel, the Palermo Cathedral, the famous Pretoria Square, an immense fountain made entirely of white Carrara marble with mythological allegories, and the Quattro Canti, also known as Piazza Vigliena, which divides the city into four historic neighborhoods.
Opportunity to visit the interior of the famous Teatro Massimo, the third largest theater in Europe. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, travel to the city of Monreale, located less than 10 km from Palermo and visit its Cathedral, one of the most important sacred buildings of Norman culture in Italy.
Return to the hotel in Palermo.
DAY 3: Palermo - Cefalù - Messina - Taormina
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Departure to Cefalù, a charming seaside city that presents its visitors with an impressive artistic display of lights and colors.
Free time to enjoy the city and to visit the charming Norman Cathedral and the Medieval Washhouse.
Stop for lunch at a local restaurant and continue the trip to the city of Messina. Arrival and panoramic tour with the possibility of seeing the strait that separates Sicily from the mainland.
Continuation to Taormina and accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 4: Taormina - Mount Etna - Taormina
After breakfast at the hotel, half-day tour to Mount Etna (subject to weather conditions), the highest volcano in continental Europe, over 3,300 meters high. 1,800 meter climb to the Sapienza Refuge to visit the inactive craters called “Crateri Silvestri”. Along the way, contemplation of flora and lunar landscapes.
Stop for lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, return to the hotel and free time for independent activities.

- Visit to the Greek Theater, with views of the Etna volcano and the Ionian Sea.
DAY 5: Taormina - Siracusa - Ragusa
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Travel to Syracuse, the largest ancient city that extends along the seashore, connected to the continent by a bridge. Possibility to see historic buildings such as the Temple of Minerva, now a Christian church, the Arethusa Fountain, the Temple of Apollo, the Greek Theater and the Roman Amphitheater located near Latomie, the Orecchio di Dionisio.
Stop for lunch at a local restaurant.
Continuation to Ragusa with a panoramic visit to its historic center. Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
DAY 6: Ragusa - Piazza Armerina - Agrigento - Selinunte
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Travel to Piazza Armerina to tour the commune and visit the Vila Romana del Casale, an old residence located in the heart of Sicily, an example from the Roman era where you can admire the mosaics that represent the culture and customs of the time.
Continuation of the trip to Selinunte with a stop in Agrigento to visit the famous “Valley of the Temples”. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Arrival in Selinunte and accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
DAY 7: Selinunte - Trapani - Erice - Segesta - Palermo
After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, travel to Trapani and a panoramic visit to its salt pans, a Sicilian postcard.
Continue to Érice, a medieval city located 750 meters above sea level, for a visit and lunch at a local restaurant.
Then, departure to Segesta and visit the Doric Temple, which stands out both for its unique architecture and for the landscape that surrounds it.
Finally, travel to Palermo. Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
Day 8: Palermo
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Transfer to Palermo airport or port.
