Treasures of Sardinia and Corsica

DAY 1: Cagliari
Arrival in Cagliari, the capital of the Italian island of Sardinia and regular transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.


DAY 2: CAGLIARI - NORA - CAGLIARI
Breakfast at the hotel and visit to the archaeological site of Nora, an ancient city founded under the rule of the Phoenicians, which during Roman rule became the largest population on the island and became the capital of the Roman province of Sardinia.

Return to Cagliari for a panoramic visit to the main points of the city and free time for independent activities.


DAY 3: CAGLIARI - BARUMINI - ORISTANO - BOSA - ALGHERO
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Travel of about 1 hour to Barumini and visit the Su Nuraxi archaeological site.

Continuation of the trip to Oristano and visit the Church of Santa Giusta. Free time for lunch (not included) and independent activities.

Then, visit Bosa, one of the most visited medieval villages in northern Sardinia. Opportunity to explore the village and important points such as Serravalle Castle.

Arrival in Alghero, on the west coast of Sardinia. Accommodation for 2 nights, with half board (selected drinks).


DAY 4: ALGHERO
After breakfast at the hotel, visit with a local guide to the main tourist attractions of the city, where the Catalan past can still be seen today on its street signs, in its architecture, in its dialects and in its traditions.

Suggested optional activities (not included):

• Visit the Promontorio di Capo Caccia, a geographical formation located on the west coast of the Italian island of Sardinia, in the Mediterranean Sea. It is known for its impressive limestone cliffs and the region's natural beauty;
• Visit the Neptune Cave, famous for its stalactite and stalagmite formations.

DAY 5: ALGHERO - SASSARI - Lóbia
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. On the way to the city of Olbia, stop in Sassari, the second largest city in Sardinia, for a panoramic visit to the city's main tourist attractions.

Continuation of the tour in the Longudoru region and visit the Church of the Holy Trinity of Saccargia, considered the most romantic and beautiful church in Sardinia.

Next, stop at Tempio Pausania, a city built entirely of granite, standing out for the uniqueness of its architecture and atmosphere.

Arrival in Olbia and accommodation for 3 nights, with half board (selected drinks).


DAY 6: Ó LIBYA - ARZACHENA - Maddalena Archipelago - COSTA ESMERALDA - OLBIA
After breakfast at the hotel, departure to Arzachena, with the opportunity to visit the Tomb of the Giants, funerary monuments that constitute collective graves belonging to the Nuragic culture.

Then continue to Palau and board a regular ferry to the Magdalena archipelago. Free time for independent activities. Return by boat to Palau, with a brief stop on the Emerald Coast before returning to Olbia.

In the evening, dine at the hotel or at a local restaurant.


DAY 7: Ó LIBYA - BONIFACIO (CORSICA) - Olbia
After breakfast at the hotel, departure to the port of Olbia to take a regular ferry to Bonifácio.

Located on the southern tip of the island of Corsica, the city is renowned for its impressive location on limestone cliffs, offering panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea. The city is divided into two parts: the old city, with its narrow and charming streets, and the modern one, with a lively marina that welcomes yachts and boats.

In the afternoon, board a regular ferry back to Olbia.

In the evening, dine at the hotel or at a local restaurant.


DAY 8: Oh Libya
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Regular transfer to the airport or port of Olbia.
