New Year's Eve in Finland
Helsinque, Oulu, Rovaniemi, Ruka
Celebrate the arrival of the New Year in Finland with the charm of Scandinavian winter.
DAY 1 (26/12/2026 - Saturday): HELSINKI
Arrival in Helsinki and shared transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
Helsinki is a city that combines contemporary architecture, Nordic tradition and seaside landscapes. Capital of Finland, it stands out for its modern design, urban spaces integrated with nature and a welcoming atmosphere, preserving its strong cultural and historical identity.
DAY 2 (27/12/2026 - Sunday): HELSINKI
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for a half-day shared tour with an English-speaking guide.
Passage through the Senate Square, the University of Helsinki, the Helsinki Cathedral and the Market Square, important examples of 19th century neoclassical architecture.
Continuation through the Kaivopuisto, area of diplomatic residences, passing through the statue of Carl Gustaf Emil Mannerheim, Parliament House, Finlandia Hall, Uspenski Cathedral and the Monument Sibelius.
Finally, an external visit to the Temppeliaukio Church, known as the “Church on the Rock”, because it was directly excavated in the stone.
Return to the hotel.
DAY 3 (28/12/2026 - Monday): HELSINKI - Oulu
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Transfer to Helsinki station to board a train bound for Oulu.
After disembarkation, transfer to the hotel and accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
Departure for a 2-hour shared tour with a guide in English or Spanish (subject to availability and confirmation).
Visit the historic, monumental and modern centers of Oulu. Visit the Oulu Museum of Art and Madetojan Sali, in addition to areas of innovation and technology, such as Technopolis Oulu, the University of Oulu and the Oulu University Hospital (tickets not included).
Suggested optional activities (not included):
- Shared tour with an English-speaking guide to observe the Northern Lights (subject to weather conditions). It includes a three-course dinner.
DAY 4 (29/12/2026 - Tuesday): Oulu - Rovaniemi
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Departure for a half-day shared tour with an English-speaking guide.
Visit to a reindeer farm, with the opportunity to observe and feed the animals, in addition to learning more about reindeer breeding and the local lifestyle. Typical lunch included (without drinks).
Then transfer for about 3 hours to Rovaniemi. Arrival and accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 5 (30/12/2026 - Wednesday): rovaniemi
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for a full-day shared tour with an English-speaking guide.
Visit a husky farm, home to more than 100 Siberian Huskies, with the opportunity to participate in dog-led safaris, get to know them up close and learn more about daily life and Arctic traditions, in an experience that combines nature, adventure and local culture in Northern Finland.
Continuation with a visit to Santa Claus Village, located on the Arctic Circle line. Possibility to visit Santa Claus's house and experience one of the most traditional attractions in Finnish Lapland.
Return to the hotel.

DAY 6 (31/12/2026 - Thursday): rovaniemi - ruka
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Departure for a half-day shared tour with an English-speaking guide.
In the morning, departure to visit the Ranua Wildlife Park, located approximately 80 km from Rovaniemi. Opportunity to spot several species typical of the Arctic fauna, including owls, eagles, falcons, swans and other animals adapted to the northern regions.
Lunch at the park's restaurant (without drinks).
Free time to explore the surroundings, visit souvenir shops, the store of the traditional Finnish brand Fazer, or discover local products, such as wines made from the region's wild fruits.
Transfer to Ruka and accommodation for 2 nights, with half board.
In the evening, dinner at the hotel for New Year's celebration.
DAY 7 (01/01/2027 - Friday): ruka
Breakfast at the hotel.
Free day for independent activities.
Suggested optional activities (not included):
- Shared snowmobile tour with English-speaking guide (valid driver's license required)
- Shared tour to explore different saunas and pools at Rovaniemi Sauna World, with robe, towel and slippers included.
DAY 8 (02/01/2027 - Saturday): ruka
After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, shared transfer to Kuusamo airport.
