Brazil

Brazil is a country with continental dimensions, occupying almost half of South America. With borders with 10 of the 12 South American countries, it has a vast and diverse geography: tropical forests, mountains, plains, savanna, caatinga, Pantanal and more than 7 thousand kilometers of coastline bathed by the Atlantic.

Culturally, Brazil is a mosaic formed by indigenous, African, European and other immigrant heritage, resulting in a plural identity, expressed in music, cuisine, popular festivals, and regional traditions.

With 26 states and the Federal District, Brazil is home to a population of more than 200 million inhabitants and is known for its incomparable biodiversity, concentrating the largest tropical forest on the planet: the Amazon.

In addition to its natural wealth, the country stands out economically in agriculture, mining, renewable energy, tourism, and the creative industry.

Thus, Brazil is often referred to as a “country with continental dimensions”, since it brings together in a single territory a geographical, climatic and cultural diversity equivalent to that of an entire continent.
