DAY 1: KALAMATA - COSTA NAVARINO Upon arrival
in Kalamata, private transfer to the hotel in Costa Navarino and accommodation for 4 nights, with breakfast.
Costa Navarino is located in Messinia, in the southwest of the Peloponnese, in one of the most untouched and breathtaking landscapes in the Mediterranean. It offers the ideal base from which to explore this complex past. It consists of several mixed resorts, the first in Greece, that integrate luxury hotels, exclusive golf courses, spas and high-end residences.
Note: A trip to Costa Navarino can also be taken on a private helicopter flight (optional and not included) to save time and be less tiring.
DAY 2: Costa Navarino
Breakfast at the hotel. Half-day private tour with an English-speaking guide to the castles of Pylos and Methoni (closed on Mondays).
- Castelo de Pilos: historic fortress in the city of Pilos, overlooking the Bay of Navarino. It represents the origins that go back to the Bronze Age. This castle played a crucial role in the Mycenaean era, characterized by its complex architecture, massive walls, and vestiges of an advanced society.
- Methoni Castle: medieval fortification in the port city of Methoni. Its walls echo the stories of past centuries, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the fascinating medieval world. During the guided tour, opportunity to understand the historical importance and ingenuity behind the construction of these coastal fortresses.
Return to the hotel and free afternoon for independent activities.
Day 3: Costa Navarino
After breakfast, drive to Olímpia. Private full-day tour, with an English-speaking guide to visit the main tourist attractions.
Olympia, located in western Greece, is a legendary site of inestimable historical importance. It is best known for being the birthplace of the ancient Olympic Games, one of the most iconic events in Ancient Greece. This ancient sacred city hosted the Olympic Games for over a thousand years, becoming a center of celebration, athletic competition, and worship of the gods.
DAY 4: COSTA NAVARINO
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day for independent activities.
DAY 5: COSTA NAVARINO - KALAMATA
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private transfer to Kalamata airport.
