Chapada Diamantina: Exploring the Sancorá Route

Day 1: Linçóis
Arrival in Lençóis, reception by the local representative and transfer to the hotel.

Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.


Day 2: Lençóis - Gruta da Pratinha - Gruta da Lapa Doce - Morro do Pai Inácio - Lençóis
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Iraquara to visit the Gruta da Pratinha and an opportunity to visit the Blue Grotto.

The Iraquara region is famous for its subsoil of limestone rocks that allowed the formation of numerous caves and caves with very rare rock formations.

Continue to the Lapa Doce Cave to explore its beautiful rock formations and stop for lunch (without drinks).

Finally, visit Pai Inácio Hill to enjoy beautiful views of the region.

Return to the hotel in Lençóis.

Suggested optional activities (not included):

• Floating diving inside the cave (Blue Grotto);
• Zipline descent into the Blue Grotto.

Day 3: Lençóis - Vale do Capão
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Trip of approximately 1 and a half hours to Vale do Capão to visit the largest free-falling waterfall in Brazil, Cachoeira da Fumaça.

Arrival in Vale do Capão and walk for about 6 km to its top. Along the way, pass through the 400-meter-high Smoke Canyon. Snack stop (without drinks).

Then, visit Cachoeira do Riachinho to enjoy a relaxing bath.

After the tour, private transfer the group to the inn. Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.


Day 4: Vale do Capão - Vale do Pati - Mucugê
Breakfast and check-out at the inn. Departure to Mucugê with a stop to visit Vale do Pati.

Trip to the village of Guiné and walk up Morro do Beco, a place that offers breathtaking views of the Serra do Saccorá mountains. Continue through Rio Preto until arriving at Mirador do Pati, in Vale do Pati. Stop for a snack (without drinks) and return to Guinea. Opportunity to enjoy a bath in Rio Preto.

Finally, arrival in Mucugê and accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.


Day 5: Mucugê - Ibicoara - Cachoeira do Buracão - Mucugê After
breakfast at the inn, drive to the city of Ibicoara and, from there, continue to the Cânnion do Buracão on a dirt road, passing through the Rio Espalhado and the Cachoeira das Orquideas along the way.

Opportunity to swim through the canyon, with vests, to Cachoeira do Buracão.

Stop for a snack (without drinks) and return on foot along the trail above the waterfall.


6th day: Mucugê - Cachoeira das Três Barras - Igatu
Breakfast and check-out at the inn. Visit to Cachoeira das Três Barras, taking a trail along the Paiba riverbed, to enjoy free time and a snack (without drinks).

One of the least explored places in the region, this trail is an adventure surrounded by beautiful landscapes and many natural pools, being one of the few attractions where there are hardly any other people present.

At the end of the tour, private transfer the group to Igatu. Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.


7th day: igatu - enchanted well - blue well - sheets
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Tour the city of Igatu, visiting its art gallery and the ruins of the ghost city.

The town of Igatu is famous for its peculiar architecture, made with rock blocks abundant in the region, known for diamond mining.

After the tour, exit to Poço Encantado, an immense natural pool of turquoise water, inside a limestone cave, and to Poço Azul, where you have the opportunity to float inside the cave. Lunch stop at a local restaurant (no drinks).

Trip to Lençóis and accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.

Note: Only children over 12 years old are allowed to enter Poço Encantado.


Day 8: sheets
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private transfer for the group to the Lençóis airport or bus station.
