Chapada Diamantina: Wines and Gastronomy

Day 1: Linçóis
Arrival in Lençóis, reception by the local representative and private transfer to the hotel.

Accommodation for 4 nights, with breakfast.


Day 2: Lençóis - Muritiba Park - Spring Waterfall - Lençóis
After breakfast at the hotel, walk through Muritiba Park.

Then, pass through the Lençóis River and visit the Caldeirões do Rio Serrano - natural pools formed by the characteristic colorful conglomerate of Chapada -, the Hall of Colored Sands, the Halley Well and the Cachoeirinha. Continuation to Cachoeira da Primavera and free time for independent activities.

Return to Lençóis and a panoramic tour to discover its historic center, which holds memories and many stories from the prospecting era.

Finally, a good cooking workshop to learn about healthy foods and how to better treat the human body through food. Immerse yourself in flavors, learn about local ingredients and a bit of the history of Chapada Diamantina cuisine, live a sensory experience of contact with food and taste while enjoying the flavor of everything prepared. Take part in a conversation about the production of local inputs and ingredients, and at the end, a tasting of everything that has been prepared.


Day 3: Lençóis - Gruta da Lapa Doce - Gruta da Pratinha - Morro do Pai Inácio - Lençóis
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Iraquara to visit the Gruta da Lapa Doce, exploring its beautiful rock formations.

The Iraquara region is famous for its subsoil of limestone rocks that allowed the formation of numerous caves and caves with very rare rock formations.

In the afternoon, stop for lunch with typical food at a local restaurant (without drinks).

Continuation to Gruta da Pratinha with the opportunity to visit the Blue Cave.

Finally, visit Pai Inácio Hill to enjoy beautiful views of the region.

Suggested optional activities (not included):

• Floating diving inside the cave (Blue Grotto);
• Zipline descent into the Blue Grotto.

4th day: sheets - mosquito waterfall - devil's well - sheets
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to the farm that gives access to the trail to the Mosquito Waterfall, which received this name due to the small diamonds that were found in the region at the time of mining. Hiking to the base of the waterfall where you can enjoy a relaxing bath.

Then continue to the Mucugezinho River and hiking to Cachoeira do Poço do Diabo, one of the region's classic attractions. Free time for independent activities.

After the visit, return to the hotel in Lençóis and lunch at a local restaurant (without drinks).


Day 5: Lençóis - Igatu - Uvva Winery -
Mucugê Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Departure to Vila de Igatu, famous for its peculiar architecture, made with rock blocks abundant in the region, known for diamond mining. Panoramic tour of the city's main attractions.

Continue to the Uvva Winery to enjoy a full wine tasting. Lunch at the winery.

Then continue to Mucugê, where the first diamond from Chapada Diamantina was found.

Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.


6th day: Mucugê - Ibicoara - Cachoeira do Buracão - Mucugê After breakfast at the hotel, drive off to
the city of Ibicoara and, from there, continue to the Buracão Canyon on a dirt road, passing through the Rio Espalhado and the Cachoeira das Orquideas along the way.

Opportunity to swim through the canyon, with vests, to Cachoeira do Buracão.

Stop for a snack (without drinks) and return on foot along the trail above the waterfall.


7th day: Mucugê - Poço Encantado - Poço Azul - Bed sheets Breakfast and check-out at the hotel
. Exit to Poço Encantado, an immense natural pool of turquoise water, inside a limestone cave, and to Poço Azul, where you have the opportunity to float inside the cave. Lunch stop at a local restaurant (no drinks).

Trip to Lençóis and accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.

Note: Only children over 12 years old are allowed to enter Poço Encantado.


Day 8: sheets
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. At an appropriate time, meet with the local representative to take a private transfer to the airport.
