Charms of Chapada Diamantina
Ibicoara, Mucugê
Chapada Diamantina in five days: trails, waterfalls, wine tasting, cultural tours and direct contact with nature in the landscapes of Ibicoara and Mucugê.
DAY 1: VITÓRIA DA CONQUISTA - IBICOARA
Arrival and reception at Vitória da Conquista airport. Private transfer to Ibicoara (approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes). Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
DAY 2: IBICOARA - MUCUGê
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Then, exit towards Cachoeira do Buracão (approximately 30 minutes), located at the bottom of a canyon and with an 85-meter-high waterfall.
On site, a 6 km walk along trails that pass through wells and canyons to the base of the waterfall. Free time for a picnic on the banks of the waterfall.
Finally, private transfer to Mucugê (approximately 2 hours). Accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 3 : MUCUGê
After breakfast at the hotel, visit the UVVA Winery, which offers several wine experiences (not included).
Suggested experiences (not included):
- UVVA experience: Guided tour of the winery by a winemaker, with tasting of 4 selected wines.
Then, a private tour of the main points of Vila de Igatu, with a visit to some ruins from the mining period and the Art Memory Museum Gallery, installed amidst the ruins of old stone houses. The museum includes prospectors from the 1930s to the 1950s, as well as photos, installations and a garden with sculptures by contemporary artists made of fiberglass, metal, soapstone and ceramics.
Free time for lunch at a local restaurant and return to Mucugê.
DAY 4 : MUCUGê
Breakfast at the hotel and visit to Poço Encantado, an impressive natural underground pool with crystal clear turquoise waters, more than 60 meters deep.
Then, visit the Blue Well, located in a cave. The lake with transparent waters takes on different shades depending on the incidence of the sun, providing a unique setting. There is an opportunity for diving and floating on site.
Free time for lunch at a local restaurant and return to Mucugê.
DAY 5: MUCUGê - VITÓRIA DA CONQUISTA
After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, private transfer to Vitória da Conquista airport (approximately 4 hours).
