Explore Croatia and Slovenia on a trip that combines history, culture, and beautiful landscapes.
Day 1: ZAGREB
Arrival in Zagreb, reception by the local representative and private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
Zagreb, the enchanting capital of Croatia, is a fusion of history and vitality. Founded in the 11th century, it reflects periods of Austro-Hungarian and Yugoslav influence before becoming the independent capital in 1991.
Day 2: ZAGREB - LJUBLJANA (SLOVENIA)
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Meeting with the local guide in Spanish or Portuguese (subject to availability and confirmation), for a half-day walking tour of the city's main tourist attractions.
Passage through the historic center where the Government Palace, the Cathedral of Saint Stephen and the Church of Saint Mark stand out.
Then visit the Upper City (Gornji Grad) with the Gothic Cathedral and St. Mark's Church, with its famous colorful tiled ceiling. Continue to the Stone Gate to Dolac, an open-air market, to visit the Lower City (Donji Grad).
After the tour, private transfer to the city of Ljubljana, Slovenia. Arrival and accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
Day 3: LJUBLJANA - BLED - LJUBLJANA
After breakfast at the hotel, meet the local guide in Spanish or Portuguese (subject to availability and confirmation) for a private half-day walking tour of the city.
Visit the historic center of the city, where the City Hall, the Robba Fountain, the Three Bridges, the University and the Parliament stand out.
Continuation is the city of Bled, with its iconic lake and small island, considered the most reproduced photo in Slovenia. Return to the hotel in Ljubljana.
Day 4: LJUBLJANA - POSTOJNA - POREC (CROATIA)
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Departure to Postojna, famous for its caves. The visit will take place by tourist train from Minas Gerais, passing through the caves known as Ballroom and Paradise. The highlight is the vaulted cave known as the Concert Hall.
Next, visit Predjama Castle, a medieval fortress built inside a cave on a 123-meter-high cliff.
At the end of the visit, continue to Porec and accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
Day 5: POREC - MOTOVUN - ROVINJ - POREC
After breakfast at the hotel, meet the local guide in Spanish or Portuguese (subject to availability and confirmation) for a full-day tour of the cities of Porec, Motovun and Rovinj.
Porec, on the west coast of Istria, is the second largest city in the region. The city stands out for its 6th century Euphrasian Basilica, listed by UNESCO. Passage through the historic center where the original Roman layout is preserved, with Cardo and Decumanus streets, in addition to Marafor Square, where there are temples dedicated to Neptune and Mars.
Continue to Motovun, in the Istrian countryside, is a picturesque medieval city on top of a hill overlooking the Mirna River valley. Famous for its rich cultural heritage, it houses the Motovun Forest, where the largest white truffle in the world was found in 1999.
Finally, arrival in Rovinj, one of the most romantic cities in the Mediterranean, with narrow cobblestone streets and historic houses that preserve their ancient charm. Visit the Cathedral of Saint Euphemia, the largest baroque building in Istria, from where you have a breathtaking view of the city and the sea.
Return to the hotel in Porec.
Day 6: POREC - VODNJAN - PULA - PLITVICE
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private transfer to Plitvice, with stops along the way.
The first stop is in the city of Vodnjan, for tasting the famous local olive oil.
Then, continue to Pula for a tour of about 2 hours, with a local guide in Spanish or Portuguese (subject to availability and confirmation), around the city. Visit the Roman Amphitheater, one of the six largest and best preserved in the world, the Forum Square where the Temple of Augustus is located, the Arch of Sergius and the Kastel Fortress.
Arriving at the Plitvice Lakes National Park, its true highlight is the 16 interconnected lakes and spectacular waterfalls, and accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
7th day: PLITVICE - ZADAR - SPLIT
After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, meeting with the local guide in Spanish or English (subject to availability and confirmation) for a half-day tour of the park.
At the end of the tour, drive to Split, stopping in Zadar for a private tour of about 2 hours of the city, passing the ruins of the Roman Forum and the Church of St. Donatus.
Arrival in Split and accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast.
Day 8: SPLIT
After breakfast at the hotel, a panoramic tour of about 2 hours of Split's main sights, such as the Cathedral of Saint Domnius and the Temple of Jupiter.
Split has 190,000 inhabitants and is located on a peninsula in the Adriatic Sea. It is known for housing a large 4th century palace, built by the Roman Emperor Diocletian, in addition to having beautiful beaches that can be explored on a boat trip.
Free afternoon for independent activities.
Day 9: SPLIT - HVAR - SPLIT
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the port of Split to board a catamaran bound for Hvar, about 50 minutes.
Arrival and tour of about 2 hours through the main points of the city, with a guide in Spanish or Portuguese (subject to availability and confirmation).
Hvar is one of the Dalmatian islands and is often referred to as “new St. Tropez”. The ancient city has a rich history, gaining glory and power during the Middle Ages as an important port for the Venetian naval empire. It's a paradise of small beaches, beautifully ornate Gothic palaces, and traffic-free marble streets. It's the perfect starting point for those who want to visit the stunning Pakleni Islands nearby.
At the end of the tour, transfer to the port of Hvar for boarding a catamaran back to Split. Arrival at the port of Split and private transfer to the hotel.
Note: during the high season, from June to August, catamarans depart in the morning and afternoon; in the other months, the departures are only in the afternoon.
Day 10: SPLIT - DUBROVNIK
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Travel to Dubrovnik along the Dalmatian coast to enjoy the landscapes of the islands in the Adriatic Sea.
Arrival and accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
Day 11: DUBROVNIK
After breakfast at the hotel, meeting with the local guide in Spanish or Portuguese (subject to availability and confirmation) for a half-day walking tour of the medieval city of Dubrovnik, proclaimed a museum city by UNESCO. During the visit, it is possible to observe the Onofrio's Fountain, the Orlando Column, the São Brás Church and the Rector's Palace.
The old city is surrounded by walls over a kilometer long and with a tower at each corner, the walls are a masterpiece of medieval and Renaissance architecture.
Free afternoon for independent activities.
Day 12: DUBROVNIK
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private airport transfer.
