Aurora Borealis: From the Nordic Capitals to Tromso

Day 1: Copenhagen
Arrival in Copenhagen and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, combines Scandinavian charm with a modern and sustainable lifestyle. With canals, elegant architecture, and creative neighborhoods, it's a vibrant city perfect for exploring on foot or by bike.
Day 2: Copenhagen
After breakfast at the hotel, a half-day panoramic tour of the historic center, where centuries-old buildings line the canals. Passage through Town Hall Square, Christiansborg Palace, seat of the Danish parliament, to the bustling Nyhavn Harbor, the Fountain of the Goddess Gefion and the famous “Little Mermaid”.
Free afternoon for independent activities.
Optional activity suggestion (not included):
- Visit Frederiksborg Royal Castle, the largest Renaissance castle in Scandinavia.
Day 3: COPENHAGEN - NAVIGATION
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Free morning for independent activities.
In the afternoon, transfer to the port of Copenhagen to board the DFDS cruise to Oslo, Norway. Overnight on board, with half board (without drinks).
Day 4: SAILING - OSLO
Breakfast on board and disembarkation in Oslo. Transfer to the hotel and accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
Half-day panoramic tour of the city's main sights, such as the City Hall, Akershus Fortress, Royal Palace, Parliament, and Vigeland Park, known for its famous bronze sculptures by Gustav Vigeland, which symbolize the cycle of human life.
Free afternoon for independent activities.
Optional activity suggestion (not included):
- Visit the Akerbrygge district, where there are several bars, restaurants and shops on the banks of the fjord.
Day 5: OSLO/TROMSO
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Transfer to Oslo airport to board a flight to Tromso.
Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast.
Day 6: TROMSO
After breakfast at the hotel, visit the city including the interior of the Arctic Cathedral and then board the Fjelheisen cable car to Mount Floya, where you can enjoy views of the city and the surrounding islands and fjords.
In the evening, drive to a Sami village. During the visit, a meal will be served where it is possible to enjoy a social moment next to the fire in the large lavvu - Sami shepherds' tent.
Departure to hunt for the Northern Lights (subject to weather conditions)
Note: if the sky is cloudy or there are no signs of the Northern Lights, go out to other areas where you are more likely to contemplate them.
Day 7: TROMSO
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to a Sami village for a reindeer sleigh driving experience. Reindeer sledding is the oldest form of transportation in the north and an ancient part of Sami culture.
At the end of the tour, dinner (without drinks) and return to the hotel.
Day 8: TROMSO/OSLO
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Transfer to the airport to board a flight to Oslo.
Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
Day 9: OSLO - Stockholm
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Transfer to the train station to board a fast train to Stockholm, the capital of Sweden.
Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
Stockholm is known as “The Queen of Waters” as well as being famous for its architecture, rich history, and beautiful canals.
Day 10: Stockholm
After breakfast at the hotel, visit the historic island of Gamla Stan, where some of the most important buildings in the city's history are located, such as the Royal Palace, the House of the Nobility and the Nobel Museum.
Free afternoon for independent activities.
Day 11: Stockholm
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Transfer to the airport.
