Explore Norway from Oslo to the Lofoten Islands on this 12-day itinerary. Discover stunning landscapes, fjords, and picturesque villages.
Day 1: Oslo
Arrival in Oslo and private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
Located in the eastern region, Oslo is the capital of Norway and also the city with the largest number of inhabitants. Gateway to the country, the capital has several tourist and cultural attractions, in addition to its bold architecture.
Day 2: Oslo
After breakfast at the hotel, private half-day tour with a guide in Portuguese through the city.
Visit the Oslo Opera and Ballet, Central Station, Karl Johan Avenue, Oslo Cathedral, Parliament, City Hall, National Theater, University and the famous Aker Brygge neighborhood.
Then, visit Vigeland Park, the largest sculpture park in the world, which exhibits more than 200 iron and bronze statues created by renowned Norwegian sculptor Gustav Vigeland.
Opportunity to visit the Fram Museum, where you can discover one of the most famous polar ships in the world, in addition to discovering about the history of this region and about two great Norwegian polar explorers, Fridtjof Nansen and Roald Amundsen.
Return to the hotel and free afternoon for independent activities.
Day 3: OSLO - NORWEGIAN FJORDS - BERGEN
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Short walk to the Oslo train station to board the train to Myrdal, a journey that offers panoramic views of some of the most beautiful landscapes in Norway. Upon arrival at Myrdal station, change train and ride the Flam Railway on the famous “Flamsbana” panoramic train on one of the steepest train lines in the world.
Arrival in Flam, a beautiful village on the banks of the fjord.
Then board the approximately 2-hour ferry bound for Gudvanger. Arrival and private transfer, for approximately 2 and a half hours, to Bergen.
Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
Note: After checking out in the morning, the bags (only 1 suitcase of 23 kg per person) will be sent to Bergen. During the trip to Bergen, it will be possible to carry a small suitcase.
Day 4: BERGEN
After breakfast at the hotel, a panoramic walking tour of the city's main sights. Visit Bryggen, the Hanseatic district, and the Fish Market, where you can find local delicacies such as wild and farmed salmon, as well as various types of Norwegian caviar.
Then board a cable car to Mount Floyen, one of the seven hills surrounding the city, from where you can enjoy beautiful views of Bergen.
Free afternoon for independent activities.
Day 5: BERGEN - NAVIGATION - ALESUND
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private transfer to the port of Bergen for boarding the ship Havila bound for Alesund.
Accommodation for 3 nights, with full board (excluding drinks).
Day 6: ALESUND - SAILING - TRONDHEIM In
the morning, arrival in Alesund and free day to explore the city.
Alesund is a port city on the west coast of Norway, known as the most beautiful city in the country, where the beauty of the natural environment is complemented by the local Nouveau architecture.
Return to the ship and sail to Trondheim.
Day 7: TRONDHEIM - SAILING - BODO In the
morning, arrival in Trondheim and free time to explore the city.
Trondheim, in central Norway, is a historic city with a mix of traditional and modern architecture. Known for its cultural importance, it is also known for being a university center, with a vibrant atmosphere rich in tradition.
In the afternoon, return to the ship and sail to Bodo.
Day 8: BODO
Arrival in Bodo in the afternoon and disembarkation. Private transfer to the hotel and accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
Bodo, in northern Norway, is a city known for its natural landscapes and its proximity to the Arctic Circle. It is a popular destination for exploring the Arctic region with a variety of outdoor activities.
9th day: BODO - SALTSTRAUMEN - BODO
After breakfast at the hotel, departure to Saltstraumen, where you will discover the strongest whirlpool in the world, in addition to going on a safari in search of the white-tailed eagle, also known as a “sea eagle”, and rafting in the sea.
The sea eagle is the largest bird of prey in Northern Europe, its wingspan can reach 2.4 meters. During the tour, enjoy stories and curiosities about Bodo told by the boat's captains.
Then return to Bodo and visit the Norwegian Aviation Museum. The museum highlights the history of Norwegian civil and military aviation, with a collection of historic aircraft and interactive exhibits, the museum offers an immersive view of the importance of aviation, from its beginnings to the present day.
Finally, an opportunity to learn more about Sami culture and history, including feeding the reindeer. After discovering the reindeer, enjoy a traditional Sami dinner around a bonfire with traditional Sami stories and songs.
Day 10: BODO/LOFOTEN Breakfast and check-out at
the hotel. Private transfer to Bodo airport for boarding a flight to Svolvaer, in the Lofoten region.
Arrival in Svolvaer and private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
Note: the flight includes 1 suitcase of up to 23 kg and 1 hand bag of up to 8 kg.
Day 11: LOFOTEN
After breakfast at the hotel, private tour of the Lofoten region, with an English-speaking guide.
Departure to Gimsoya Island, where you can find a unique golf course, Icelandic horses and stunning nature. Continue to the beaches of Unstad and Haukland, the picturesque city of Henningsvaer and the Kabelvag Cathedral.
During the tour, stop for picnics and photos.
At the end of the tour, return to the hotel and free time for independent activities.
Day 12: LOFOTEN
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private transfer to Svolvaer airport.
