Discoveries between Helsinki and Rovaniemi, bringing together architecture, Arctic traditions, snow safaris, festive encounters and landscapes of the Arctic Circle.
DAY 1: HELSINKI
Arrival in Helsinki and private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 2: HELSINKI
Breakfast at the hotel. Half-day private tour, with a guide in Portuguese and a vehicle available to visit the city's main tourist attractions.
The tour covers some of Helsinki's main landmarks, highlighting the balance between its historic architecture and contemporary design, with works influenced by renowned Finnish architect Alvar Aalto, one of the greatest names in Scandinavian design.
Planned points of passage: the Parliament Building, the Uspenski Orthodox Cathedral, renowned for its golden domes and location on a hill, in addition to the traditional Fish Market, located on the seafront.
Finally, visit the Stone Church (Temppeliaukion Kirkko), carved directly into the rock and considered one of the main icons of Finnish architecture.
DAY 3 : HELSINKI/ROVANIEMI
After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, private transfer to Helsinki airport for boarding a flight (not included) to Rovaniemi.
Arrival in Rovaniemi and private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 4 nights, with half board. Rovaniemi is known as the official Santa Claus city and is located in the Lapland region of northern Finland, on the edge of the Arctic Circle.
In the evening, shared tour of about 3 hours, with an English-speaking guide, by sleigh of approximately 2 km through snowy forests, led by reindeer, and a stop at a traditional Laponian Kota. Hot drinks are served on site and there will be storytelling led by reindeer herders, who share their traditional bond with nature. Possibility to observe the Northern Lights, if weather conditions permit.
DAY 4: ROVANIEMI
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for a shared tour of approximately 2 hours, with an English-speaking guide, for a sleigh ride with Huskies.
The experience provides close contact with huskies, with information about the life, care, and routine of these dogs in the region. The tour includes a sleigh safari of approximately 10 km as a passenger, led by a professional musher (dog sled driver), crossing the winter landscapes of Lapland.
After guidance from the drivers, it will be possible to drive the team of huskies that pull the sled on your own.
DAY 5: ROVANIEMI
Breakfast at the hotel and free day for independent activities.
In the evening, shared tour of approximately 3 hours, with an English-speaking guide, through forests and snowy fields to a traditional Laponian Kota, a wooden cabin of Sámi origin, built in the shape of a tent or cone. Hot drinks and selected snacks are served on site.
Then, snowshoeing around the region, with the possibility of observing the Northern Lights, if weather conditions permit.
DAY 6: ROVANIEMI
After breakfast at the hotel, departure for a shared tour, with an English-speaking guide, on a sleigh driven by reindeer to a secret cabin to meet Santa Claus. Apukka elves accompany us all the way.
Cookies and hot drinks are served at the cabin. While Santa Claus is preparing to welcome visitors, the elves present a festive workshop to entertain the group.
DAY 7 : ROVANIEMI Free
day for independent activities.

- Visit Santa Claus Village, one of the region's main attractions, with spaces dedicated to the Christmas tradition and activities for different audiences.
DAY 8 : ROVANIEMI
After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, private transfer to Rovaniemi airport.
