DAY 1 (TUESDAY): KUALA LUMPUR
Arrival at Kuala Lumpur airport and shared transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
Malaysia is a multicultural destination, combining lush nature, rich cultural diversity and modern cities. The coexistence between Malay, Chinese, Indian and indigenous peoples creates a unique identity, reflected in architecture, cuisine, festivals and traditions. Kuala Lumpur stands out for its contemporary architecture, vibrant markets, excellent cuisine and icons such as the Petronas Towers, symbol of the capital.
DAY 2 (WEDNESDAY): KUALA LUMPUR
Breakfast at the hotel. Half-day shared tour with a guide in Spanish or English of Kuala Lumpur.
Visit the city center towards the lake gardens, with a stop at the National Mosque and Independence Square. Short walk to the Central Market with a passage over the Gombak and Klang rivers to Masjid Jamek, one of the first buildings erected.
Then, panoramic tour of the Chinatown and continue to Kampung Baru, where most of the houses are built using traditional Malay architecture. Finally, stop for photos at KLCC, the tallest twin towers in the world.
DAY 3 (THURSDAY): KUALA LUMPUR / KUCHING
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Shared airport transfer for boarding a flight to Kuching (flight not included).
Arrival and transfer (with driver only) to the hotel. Accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast.
In the afternoon, shared half-day tour with a guide in Spanish or English through Kuching. Visit the Tua Pek Kong Temple, the oldest Chinese temple in Sarawak, from where it is also possible to contemplate the Margarita Fort.
Then, tour Kuching's main attractions, including St. Joseph's Cathedral, the Sharia Court, traditional Malay houses on stilts, and the riverbank mosque. The itinerary also includes a view of Astana, the former palace of the White Rajahs and the current residence of the Governor of Sarawak, in addition to the historic Palace of Justice, with its iconic clock tower and the monument dedicated to Charles Brooke.
At the end, return to the hotel.
DAY 4 (FRIDAY): KUCHING
Breakfast at the hotel. Shared transfer to a fishing village for boarding a boat to Bako National Park, the oldest in Sarawak, located on the Muara Tebas Peninsula and renowned for its rich biodiversity.
Hiking along trails that cross tropical forests and mangroves, with the opportunity to observe local fauna and flora, including the famous nosed monkey, a species endemic to Borneo.
Picnic-style lunch during the tour. At the end of the visit, return by boat and transfer to the hotel.
Note: The time of the visit is subject to sea conditions and will be confirmed by the local guide.
DAY 5 (SATURDAY): KUCHING
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure in the morning to the Semenggoh Wildlife Center, a reference in the rehabilitation of orangutans rescued from captivity. After a short walk to the center, an opportunity to follow the animals' diet and learn about the work done to prepare them for the return to wildlife.
In the afternoon, continue to the Annah Rais Communal House, a traditional Bidayuh longhouse located near the Indonesian border. During the visit, it is possible to learn about the typical architecture and aspects of the culture and way of life of this indigenous community of Sarawak.
At the end of the tour, return to the hotel.
DAY 6 (SUNDAY): KUCHING/KOTA KINABALU
Breakfast at the hotel. Shared transfer to Kuching Airport to board a flight to Kota Kinabalu (flight not included).
Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast In the
evening, visit the Kota Kinabalu night market, followed by a Malaysian dinner (without drinks) with cultural Sabah dance performance.
Free time to walk the city streets.
DAY 7 (MONDAY): KOTA KINABALU - KINABALU NATIONAL PARK
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure in the morning to Kinabalu National Park, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and home to Mount Kinabalu, the highest mountain in Southeast Asia. Along the way, stop at the Nabalu Market, known for the sale of handicrafts, fruits, and local products, in addition to the beautiful views of Mount Kinabalu.
Upon arrival at the park, take a guided walk along one of its trails to discover the region's rich biodiversity, home to one of the highest concentrations of endemic flora and fauna in Borneo.
Stop for lunch (without drinks) at a local restaurant.
DAY 8 (TUESDAY): KINABALU NATIONAL PARK - SANDAKAN
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Departure by shared shuttle to Sandakan (about 5 hours), passing through the Crocker mountain range, indigenous villages and oil palm plantations.
Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
Rest of the day free for independent activities.
DAY 9 (WEDNESDAY): SANDAKAN - SUKAU
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure in the morning to the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Center, a pioneer in the recovery of orangutans orphaned or rescued from captivity, where it is possible to follow the feeding session and learn about the work of conserving the species.
Next, visit the Borneo Malay Bear Conservation Center, dedicated to the protection and rehabilitation of the world's smallest bear.
Continue to the pier for boarding a boat to the lodge on the banks of the Kinabatangan River. Arrival and accommodation for 2 nights, with full board.
After lunch (without drinks) at the lodge, walk along the Kinabatangan River to observe wildlife, with the possibility of spotting hooded monkeys, birds endemic to Borneo and, with a bit of luck, the rare pygmy elephants.
Return for dinner (without drinks).
DAY 10 (THURSDAY): SUKAU
Early in the morning, departure for a walk along the Kinabatangan River in search of the native fauna of Borneo or, alternatively, a walk through the forest to Lake Oxbow, ideal for birdwatching.
Return to the lodge for breakfast and the rest of the morning free.
After lunch (without drinks) at the lodge, tour the Kinabatangan River to observe the region's wildlife.
Return for dinner (without drinks).
DAY 11 (FRIDAY): SUKAU - SANDAKAN
Breakfast and check-out at the lodge. Visit the Rainforest Discovery Center, an environmental interpretation center with suspended trails that allow you to observe the rich biodiversity of the Borneo rainforest.
At the end of the tour, transfer (with driver only) to the airport or hotel in Sandakan.
