Caminhos das Águas do Jalapão

Day 1: PALMAS
Arrival in Palmas, reception and private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.

Palmas, the capital of Tocantins, is a planned, modern city surrounded by nature. On the banks of the Tocantins River, it offers beautiful landscapes, freshwater beaches and a tranquil climate. In addition, it is the main starting point for exploring Jalapão, combining infrastructure, quality of life and unique natural experiences.


Day 2: PALMAS - PONTE ALTA (JALAPÃO)
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, departure from Palmas in an air-conditioned vehicle to Jalapão. Arrival to Pindorama to visit the Japanese Lagoon, with free time to enjoy the place and lunch at a local restaurant.

Soon after, departure to Morro da Cruz and Pedra Furada, where it is possible to contemplate the sunset. Continuation of the transfer to Ponte Alta. Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.


Day 3: PONTE ALTA (JALAPÃO) - MATEIROS (JALAPÃO)
After breakfast, check out. Departure to Cachoeira da Velha, with stops for baths and snacks (included) at Prainha do Rio Novo.

Then, visit the Rio Novo Quilombola Community, where visitors have the opportunity to authentically experience the local customs, traditions, and way of life. The experience includes direct exchange with residents, knowledge about the history of the community, its cultural practices, and traditional knowledge, providing a rich moment of learning, respect, and cultural connection.

In the late afternoon, arrival at Jalapão's main postcard, the Dunas, to enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets in the region.

In the evening, stop for dinner (included) at a local restaurant followed by a private transfer to the hotel in Mateiros. Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.

Day 4: MATEIROS (JALAPÃO) - SÃO FÉLIX DO TOCANTINS (JALAPÃO) Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.
Departure to visit two boiling points: Ceiça and Encontro das Águas, springs with intense water flow that allow natural fluctuation.

Next, visit the Mumbuca Community, known for its goldengrass handicrafts, a typical plant of the region whose hue refers to gold and represents an important local cultural symbol. Lunch at a local restaurant.

Tour to Cachoeira da Formiga, famous for its crystal clear waters. Then, drive to São Félix do Tocantins, with dinner at a local restaurant. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.


Day 5: SÃO FÉLIX DO TOCANTINS (JALAPÃO) - PALMAS
After breakfast, we checked out and continued on our way to Fervedouro Bela Vista, covering approximately 85 km from the Rio Novo region. On site, time to bathe in the crystal clear waters of the boiling water, one of the most preserved attractions in the region, followed by lunch at a local restaurant, with simple and typical cuisine.

Then, we began the return to Palmas, on a route of about 170 km. Along the way, we made strategic stops for contemplation and photos at Serra da Catedral and Morro do Goglio, natural formations that offer beautiful landscapes of the Tocantins savanna and end the itinerary in a scenic way.

Arrival in Palmas in the late afternoon. Accommodation for 1 night at a selected hotel, with breakfast included.

Day 6: PALMAS
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Private transfer to Palmas airport.
