DAY 1: TUNIS
Arrival in Tunis and private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast.

Tunis, the capital of Tunisia, stands out as an important economic and political center, reflecting its history as a meeting point between the Middle East, Africa and Europe. This diversity is visible in its population and in the cultural influences that permeate the city.

The capital reveals two distinct facets: the modern new city, designed by French colonists in the 19th century, with its wide tree-lined avenues, wrought-iron balconies, cafés and pastry shops; and the historic Medina, accessed through the Porte de France, where an intricate labyrinth of alleys houses old palaces, antique dealers and a vibrant scene of Arab and Berber traditions. This combination of modernity and history makes Tunis a fascinating destination rich in contrasts.


DAY 2: TUNIS - Cartago - Si Bou Said - Tunis
After breakfast at the hotel, departure for a private full-day tour with a guide in Portuguese.

Trip to the famous ruins of Carthage, the Punic port that housed the commercial and military fleet of Cartago, the ancient sanctuary of Tofetus dedicated to the most revered gods of Carthage, Tanit and Baal Hamon, the Byrsa hill that was the residential neighborhood of Cartago, and the Thermal Baths of the Antonine Emperor.

Stop for lunch (without drinks) at a local restaurant.

Continuation of the tour to Sidi Bou Said, a charming city with cobblestone streets and blue and white houses, located on the hillside.

Return to the hotel in Tunis.


DAY 3: TUNIS
After breakfast at the hotel, departure for a private full-day tour of Tunis, with a guide in Portuguese.

Visit the Bardo Museum, the most important in the country, which contains the richest collection of Roman mosaics in the world, found in archaeological sites in Tunisia and which are very well preserved.

Dedicated time to explore the city of Tunis and then visit the Medina, the historic heart of the city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Recognized as one of the best preserved medinas in the Islamic world, it stands out for its narrow streets, bustling markets, ancient mosques and traditional architecture.


DAY 4: TUNIS - Kairouan - Tozeur
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Travel of about 3 hours and 30 minutes to Kairouan, one of the largest cities in Islam, founded by the Arabs around the year 675 as the first Arab base in North Africa.

During the stop in the city, visit the Great Mosque of Okba Ibn Nafa, the first mosque built on the African continent in 671 AD, the Mausoleum of Sidi Sahbi, dedicated to the barber of the Prophet Mohammed, and a carpet factory, to learn about the production process.

Time for lunch at a local restaurant and drive of approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes to Tozeur.

Tozeur, located in southwestern Tunisia, stands out as an important oasis close to the Sahara desert. The city is renowned for its extensive palm trees and its unique yellow brick architecture, characterized by unique geometric patterns, in addition to its rich cultural tradition.

Arrival and accommodation for 3 nights, with half board.

In the evening, free time for independent activities and dinner at the hotel.


DAY 5: TOZEUR - Ong Jamal - Tozeur
Breakfast at the hotel. Private full-day tour of Tozeur and Ong Jmal, with a guide in Portuguese.

Visit the Tozeur Medina, which enchants with its narrow and sinuous streets. Opportunity to explore the bustling markets and appreciate local crafts.

Stop for lunch (without drinks) at a local restaurant.

Then, drive about 1 hour to Ong Jmal for a ride in a 4×4 car. Ong Jmal is famous for being one of the sets from the Star Wars filming, where the scenes of the planet Tatooine, home of Luke Skywalker, were shot. Along the way, the proximity to the mountain oases of Chebika and Tamerza enriches the region even more, offering impressive natural scenery. Chebika is famous for its picturesque trails, palm trees, and a lush waterfall that springs from the desert. Tamerza, in turn, offers stunning views of ancient rock formations and waterfalls, creating a fascinating contrast with the surrounding arid landscape.

Return to the hotel and have dinner.


DAY 6: TOZEUR
Breakfast at the hotel and free day for independent activities. In the evening, have dinner at the hotel.

Optional activity suggestion (not included):

• Full-day tour to Chott El Jerid Salt Lake, one of the largest salt formations in the world, with landscapes ranging from white and pink to yellow. In the afternoon, dromedary ride at sunset in the Sahara Desert. It includes lunch (without drinks) at a local restaurant.

DAY 7: TOZEUR - matmata - EL JEM - HAMMAMET
After breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Travel of about 3 hours and 30 minutes to Matmata, known for its underground troglodyte houses of the Amazigh tribe.

Visit a typical house to learn about the architecture and traditions of the Berber people.

Stop for lunch (without drinks) at a local restaurant.

Continuation of the trip on a journey of approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes to El Jam. Visit the Roman Amphitheater of El Jem, which competes with that of Rome due to its large size.

Then drive approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes to the city of Hammamet. Accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast.

Hammamet is a coastal city on Tunisia's Cap Bon Peninsula, known for its white-sand beaches and clear waters. Popular for beachfront vacations, the city offers several resort options and has a medina with historic charm, as well as standing out for its local culture and cuisine.


Day 8 and 9: hammamet Free
days for independent activities.

Suggested optional activities (not included):

• Windsurfing and Kitesurfing on the beaches of Hammamet;
• Visit to the Dar Khadija Museum;
• Visit the Medina of Hammamet, with a variety of craft stores

DAY 10: HAMMAMET - TUNIS
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private transfer of about 1 hour to Tunis airport.
