7-day itinerary through Germany from Frankfurt to Berlin, focusing on the charming Christmas markets.
DAY 1 (06/12/2025): FRANKFURT
Arrival at Frankfurt airport and regular transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
Frankfurt, the financial and commercial center of Germany, is a city marked by fascinating contrasts between the modern and the historic, and at this time of year, the city has several Christmas markets.
Suggested optional activities (not included):
- Visit to Romerberg, Paulplatz, Mainkai, Hauptwache and Friedrich-Stoltze-Platz, plus a visit to the house of the famous German poet Goethe;
- Shopping on the famous shopping street “Zeil”
DAY 2 (07/12/2025): FRANKFURT - ROTHENBURG OB DER TAUBER - NUREMBERG
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Around 2 hours (192km) journey to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, the city is considered the most beautiful on the famous “Romantic Route” and its narrow streets and old houses are reminiscent of medieval times. Visit the city and its Christmas market.
In the afternoon, continuation of the trip to Nuremberg. Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
The Christmas market in Nuremberg, the Christkindlemarkt, is the most famous in Germany. With a history of almost 400 years, it attracts more than two million visitors each year with its decorated stalls, craft sales, as well as cheering the palate with Christmas candies and Glühwein, a mulled wine with spices.
DAY 3 (08/12/2025): NUREMBERG - DRESDEN
After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, half-day tour of the city's main sights. Visit the old part of the city, where most of the monuments are located, such as Nuremberg Castle, one of the most important imperial palaces of the Middle Ages.
In the afternoon, about 3-hour drive to Dresden. Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
Dresden is the capital of the Free State of Saxony and is famous for its numerous baroque buildings and churches on the banks of the Elbe River.
DAY 4 (09/12/2025): DRESDEN
After breakfast at the hotel, regular full-day city tour to learn about Christstollen from Dresden, a typical Christmas sweet bread. Then tour the city's main sights.
In the afternoon, visit the famous Striezelmarkt Christmas market, which opened in 1434 with the permission of Prince-Elector Frederick II. It is named after the small cake called “Strutzel” or “Striezel”, which is a specialty of the city of Dresden.
Return to the hotel.
DAY 5 (10/12/2025): DRESDEN - BERLIN
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Travel of about 2 hours to Berlin. Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
Berlin is a fascinating metropolitan city with a multitude of monuments and attractions on all sides, which reflect the long history of the German capital.
In the evening, visit the city's Christmas market.
DAY 6 (11/12/2025): BERLIN
After breakfast at the hotel, regular half-day tour of the city, including a visit to the television tower to enjoy the view of the German capital.
Visit Unter den Linden Avenue, the remains of the Berlin Wall and the Brandenburg Gate. Possibility to visit the most modern part of the city, with the German Parliament and Potsdam Square.
Return to the hotel and free afternoon for independent activities.
DAY 7 (12/12/2025): BERLIN
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Regular transfer to Berlin airport.
