Caminhos de Salta

DAY 1: SALTA
Arrival in Salta and private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.

In the afternoon, private half-day tour, with a guide in Spanish, through the main points of the city.

Hispanic architecture stands out in the local scene: houses, streets, centuries-old monuments and old paths surrounded by mountains keep alive the colonial spirit of its foundation.

Visit to the High Mountain Archaeological Museum, which preserves the “Sons of Llullaillaco”, three Inca children found frozen over 500 years ago at the top of the Llullaillaco volcano, one of the most important archaeological discoveries in the region.


DAY 2: SALTA - CACHI
Breakfast and hotel check-out. Transfer from Salta to Cafayate, 180 km away.

Between the route from Salta and Cafayate, pass through Quebrada del Río Las Conchas, declared a Natural Monument by UNESCO, with colorful hills and reddish rock formations.

Along the way, there are stops at emblematic spots such as Devil's Throat, an important rock formation in the Quebrada de las Conchas; the Amphitheater, a natural cavity with perfect acoustics surrounded by high stone walls; and Los Castillos, a rock formation that refers to ancient fortresses sculpted by wind and time.

Each stop offers photo opportunities and contact with the unique energy of the place.

Arrival in Cafayate and accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.


DAY 3: CAFAYATE - Jump
After breakfast at the hotel, a private half-day tour of two selected Cafayate wineries, with a guide in Spanish.

A visit to Bodega El Esteco, a centuries-old colonial building surrounded by old vineyards, contrasts with modern production technologies. During the visit, it is possible to visit its facilities and taste renowned labels.

Then, visit the Viñas en Flor winery, with a harmonized lunch accompanied by its wines.

In the afternoon, transfer to Salta and accommodation for 2 nights with breakfast.


DAY 4: SALTA - Purmamarca - Salinas Grandes - Jump
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Day dedicated to exploring the different landscapes of northwestern Argentina.

Early in the morning, travel north on Route 9. The path becomes a visual experience: mountains appear along the road to Purmamarca.

At the foot of the Cerro de los Siete Colores, stop to appreciate the landscape and visit the local craft fair.

The journey continues along Cuesta de Lipán, an engineering masterpiece that winds its way up the mountain until it reaches an altitude of more than 4,100 meters. From the top, the view is impressive.

At the top, arrival at the Salinas Grandes. The salt desert appears in contrast to the sky. The space favors photos and allows contact with the immensity of the place.

Return to Purmamarca for lunch (not included).

In the afternoon, return to Salta and end of the landscape and culture circuit.


DAY 5: SKIP
Breakfast and check out at the hotel. Private airport transfer.
