Day 1: BRASÍLIA - ALTO PARAISO
Arrival at Brasília International Airport - President Juscelino Kubitschek or at a previously agreed location, at a time to be defined, for the start of the Chapada dos Veadeiros experience. Then, private transfer to Alto Paraíso de Goiás, covering approximately 230 km through typical scenarios of the Brazilian savanna, providing a first immersion in the landscapes of the region.
Upon arrival, welcome lunch at the traditional Maracangalha restaurant, renowned for its welcoming atmosphere and the appreciation of regional cuisine.
After lunch, accommodation at the chosen inn and the rest of the day free for rest and first contacts with the quiet and exclusive climate of Chapada dos Veadeiros. Accommodation for 7 nights, with half board.
2nd day: ALTO PARAÍSO - ABODE DO SOL AND VALE DA LUNA - ALTO PARAÍSO
After breakfast, drive to the Morada do Sol waterfall complex, located near Vila de São Jorge, in one of the most pleasant and preserved areas of Chapada dos Veadeiros.
Access to the attraction is easy and pleasant. The walk begins at the entrance of the property, and continues for approximately 1.5 km on relatively flat terrain, ideal for a light walk amidst the nature of the savanna.
Upon reaching the Morada do Sol complex, the route follows the São Miguel River, revealing a sequence of waterfalls, small waterfalls and natural pools with crystal clear waters. Surrounded by large stone slabs and various points of contemplation, the place provides a relaxing and perfect bathing experience. The stretch along the river totals approximately 500 meters of pure connection with nature.
Next, visit the famous Moon Valley, one of the most emblematic settings in Chapada dos Veadeiros. Located on a private property close to the National Park, the attraction is accessed by a walk of about 600 meters to the São Miguel riverbed.
The site has rock formations naturally sculpted by water over thousands of years, creating exotic designs and unique landscapes that refer to the lunar surface — the origin of the name Moon Valley. After the tours, head for lunch at the traditional Dona Nenzinha restaurant, renowned for its regional cuisine and welcoming atmosphere.
Day 3: ALTO PARAÍSO - CACHOEIRA DO SEGREDO - ALTO PARAÍSO
After breakfast, drive to Cachoeira do Segredo, located approximately 10 km from Vila de São Jorge. The route follows a dirt road to the beginning of the trail, amidst the preserved landscapes of Chapada dos Veadeiros.
The walk takes place in a northeasterly direction along well-marked trails, alternating stretches of native savanna with several river crossings and a gentle and constant climb, providing an immersive experience in the midst of nature.
The final stretch reveals an impressive canyon of dark rock formations that contrast with the intense green of the local vegetation. In the background, there is the stunning Cachoeira do Segredo, about 120 meters high, forming one of the most impressive and preserved scenarios in Chapada dos Veadeiros.
There's time for a refreshing swim in the crystal clear waters and a snack break surrounded by nature. After the tour, return for lunch at the Morada do Sol restaurant, renowned for its welcoming atmosphere and regional cuisine.
Day 4: ALTO PARAÍSO - CHAPADA DOS VEADEIROS NATIONAL PARK - PRETO RIVER FALLS - ALTO PARAÍSO
After breakfast, departure to visit Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park, one of the most important conservation areas in Brazil and the setting for some of the most emblematic landscapes of the savanna.
The tour will be dedicated to the traditional Rio Preto Falls Trail, with approximately 10 km of total length, crossing rock formations, native vegetation and natural viewpoints along the way. For greater convenience, there is the possibility of optional transportation on part of the route.
The first stop will be the impressive 120 meter jump, one of the most iconic images of Chapada dos Veadeiros. The grandeur of the waterfall in the middle of the canyon creates an unforgettable view, considered a true postcard of the region.
Next, visit the 80-meter jump, which, in addition to its scenic beauty, offers a large natural pool with crystal clear waters, perfect for bathing and moments of contemplation.
Upon returning from the walk, stop to relax in the natural hydromassages of Pedreiras, rock formations shaped by the force of the waters, creating small pools and rapids ideal for relaxing in the midst of nature.
After the tour, lunch in Vila de São Jorge, at the renowned Santo Cerrado Risoteria Café restaurant, renowned for its welcoming atmosphere and excellent regional cuisine.
Day 5: ALTO PARAÍSO - CACHOEIRA ALMÉCEGAS I, II AND SÃO BENTO - ALTO PARAÍSO
After breakfast, drive to the traditional São Bento Farm, located amidst the lush landscapes of Chapada dos Veadeiros.
The day begins with a visit to the imposing Almécegas I Waterfall, one of the most beautiful in the region, with approximately 45 meters of waterfall framed by the typical vegetation of the savanna. The scenery is impressive due to the grandeur and strength of the crystal clear waters.
Next, visit the Almécegas II Waterfall, known for its large natural pool, perfect for a refreshing bath and moments of contemplation amidst preserved nature.
Before leaving the farm, stop for a swim at the charming São Bento Waterfall, famous for its transparent waters and tranquil environment, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the last moments of the tour. After the visits, head for lunch at the traditional Vendinha 1961 restaurant, a reference in the region for its welcoming atmosphere and the appreciation of local cuisine.
Day 6: ALTO PARAÍSO - CACHOEIRA SANTA BÁRBARA AND CACHOEIRA CAPIVARA - ALTO PARAÍSO
After breakfast, drive to the town of Cavalcante, covering approximately 90 km through typical savanna scenery to one of the most authentic and preserved regions of Chapada dos Veadeiros.
The day will be dedicated to immersion in the Kalunga territory, recognized as the largest quilombola historic site in Brazil. The experience begins at Engenho, located about 25 km from Cavalcante, an area that preserves the history and traditions of the community formed by descendants of refugee slaves from Bahia.
The first visit will be to the iconic Santa Bárbara Waterfall, the Kalunga community's main natural attraction. Approximately 30 meters high, the waterfall is impressive with its intense emerald-green waters and crystalline natural pools, considered one of the most emblematic landscapes of Chapada dos Veadeiros.
Next, visit the Capivara Waterfall, formed by the river of the same name as it plummets through the impressive Capivara canyon, already in the Vão das Almas region — the main nucleus of the Kalunga community. Access is via a short trail with some steep sections, rewarding visitors with an exuberant setting: a natural pool of emerald green waters where the falls of the Capivara Waterfall and the Tiririca Stream meet.
To complete the experience, special lunch at the Recanto da Mata restaurant, which values regional cuisine and the typical flavors of the savanna. Return to the inn in Alto Paraíso in the late afternoon.
Day 7: ALTO PARAÍSO - WATERFALLS OF THE LEATHERS - ALTO PARAÍSO
After breakfast, drive west from Chapada dos Veadeiros, covering approximately 57 km to one of the most impressive natural landscapes in the region: the Cataratas dos Couros complex.
The route includes about 1h30 on off-road roads, crossing typical landscapes of the Brazilian savanna to the start of the trail. The walk, approximately 1.5 km long, follows the course of the Rio dos Couros amidst native vegetation, leading to the spectacular set of waterfalls that plummet at different levels through an immense canyon of about 300 meters of unevenness.
Throughout the experience, it will be possible to contemplate several waterfalls, rapids and natural pools with crystal clear waters, in one of the grandest and most preserved settings in Chapada. Along the way, there is a descent along one of the banks of the river to a privileged observation point, allowing you to appreciate the falls both above and below the canyon.
To complete the experience, there is a special lunch prepared by Dona Eleuza's traditional family, providing a true encounter with the hospitality and regional flavors of the savanna. Return to Alto Paraíso in the late afternoon.
Day 8: ALTO PARAÍSO - CACHOEIRA DAS LOQUINHAS - BRASÍLIA
After breakfast, check out of the hotel. Departure to the charming Cachoeiras das Loquinhas, located approximately 8 km from Vila de São Jorge. The tour takes place along a charming suspended wooden walkway about 1.5 km long, providing a light and contemplative walk amidst the preserved gallery forest.
Along the way, visit seven crystal clear water wells in impressive turquoise tones, ideal for bathing and moments of relaxation in contact with the lush nature of Chapada dos Veadeiros.
Then, farewell lunch at the traditional Maracangalha restaurant, renowned for its excellent regional cuisine and welcoming atmosphere. After lunch, private transfer to Brasília International Airport - Presidente Juscelino Kubitschek.
