Between Rocks and Enchantments: Chapada dos Veadeiros

Day 1: Brasilia - Alto Paraíso
Arrival at Brasília International Airport - President Juscelino Kubitschek, reception and transfer to Alto Paraíso (230 km on asphalt - approximately 3 hours long). Welcome lunch stop. Accommodation for 7 nights in Alto Paraíso, with breakfast.


Day 2: Alto Paraíso - RAIZAMA CANYON - MOON VALLEY - Alto Paraíso 
After breakfast, the day will be dedicated to exploring the São Miguel River L. The visit begins at Fazenda Espaço Infinito, with a walk along the trail circuit that runs along the edge of the Raizama Canyon. The route includes sections with small streams that plummet from heights of up to 40 meters, as well as passages that border the canyon, revealing different perspectives of the landscape. Then continue to another attraction of the São Miguel River: the Moon Valley, a private property close to the National Park.

From the entrance, a walk of approximately 600 meters leads to the riverbed, where rock formations sculpted by water over thousands of years create a setting of singular beauty. The tour ends with lunch in the village of São Jorge in the late afternoon. Return to the hotel.


Day 3: Alto Paraíso - CACHOEIRA DO SEGREDO - Alto Paraíso
After breakfast, about 10 km from the town of São Jorge, the route follows a dirt road to the starting point of the hike. The trail, oriented to the northeast, alternates well-marked sections with several river crossings, on a constant and smooth climb. In the final part, the path enters a canyon, where the dark shades of the rocks contrast with the intense green of the vegetation. At the bottom of the canyon, the imposing Cachoeira do Segredo is revealed, with its 120 meters high and a setting of impressive beauty.

After time for a bath and a snack break, the return takes place in the direction of the village of São Jorge, with a stop for lunch in the late afternoon. Return to the hotel.


Day 4: Alto Paraíso - CHAPADA DOS VEADEIROS NATIONAL PARK - SALTOS DO RIO PRETO - Alto Paraíso
After breakfast, the day will be dedicated to visiting the Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park. The walk continues along the trail that leads to the Rio Preto Falls, which is approximately 10 km long (optional transportation available). The first stop is the 120-meter drop, one of Chapada's most iconic and photographed sights. Then, the route continues to the 80-meter Salto, which forms a large natural pool ideal for swimming.

On the return, there is time for a dive in the natural hot tubs of Pedreiras, ending the tour with a moment of relaxation. Lunch will be served in the village of São Jorge in the late afternoon.


Day 5: Alto Paraíso - ALMÉCEGAS I and II AND SÃO BENTO - ALTO PARAÍSO
After breakfast, departure to Fazenda São Bento, where it will be possible to visit Cachoeira Almécegas I, with its 45-meter drop and impressive view. Then continue to Cachoeira Almécegas II, which has a large natural pool ideal for an invigorating bath.

Before leaving the farm, there will also be an additional stop for swimming at Cachoeira São Bento. The route then continues to Alto Paraíso, with lunch in the late afternoon and accommodation at the selected inn.


Day 6: ALTO PARAÍSO - CACHOEIRA DOS CRISTAIS AND POÇO ENCANTADO - ALTO PARAÍSO 
After breakfast, the tour begins with a journey of approximately 8 km to the Cachoeira dos Cristais complex. From there, it is possible to enjoy a privileged view of the Serra da Baliza and the Vale do Moinho. The access path, with about 500 meters and a moderate slope, leads to several waterfalls and natural pools, ideal for swimming and leisure in the midst of nature.

Then, the route heads north to visit Cachoeira do Poço Encantado. With a unique setting, its waters form a beautiful waterfall that flows into a beach created by the sediments of the Rio das Pedras, resulting in a well of crystalline and inviting waters. The return takes place in the late afternoon, with lunch in Alto Paraíso.


Day 7: ALTO PARAÍSO - WATERFALLS OF THE LEATHERS - ALTO PARAÍSO 
After breakfast, the route heads west, covering approximately 57 km to one of the most impressive complexes in Chapada: the Cataratas dos Couros. After about 1h30 of off-road riding, a 1.5 km walk along the Rio dos Couros begins until the beginning of the falls, where the river plummets in several stages, forming a large canyon with about 300 meters of unevenness.

The scenery is a true natural spectacle, with successive waterfalls and pools that spread along the route. The descent continues along one of the banks of the river, allowing us to observe the falls from different angles, both above and below. Lunch will be prepared especially for the group by Mrs. Eleuza's family. Return to the hotel.


Day 8: ALTO PARAÍSO - BRASÍLIA
Breakfast at the hotel. Free morning for independent activities or rest. Check-out of the inn takes place at noon, followed by a farewell lunch in Alto Paraíso. Regular transfer to Brasilia International Airport - Presidente Juscelino Kubitschek.
