Explore the essence of Turkey on an itinerary that combines history, culture and beautiful scenery.
Day 1: ISTANBUL
Arrival in Istanbul and shared transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
Istanbul, cut in half by the Bosphorus Strait, extends for 30 km, connecting the Black Sea to the Sea of Marmara and separating Asia from Europe. The European side concentrates the center of commerce and business, while the Asian side is predominantly residential.
DAY 2: ISTANBUL
Breakfast at the hotel. Full-day shared tour, with guide in Spanish, through the Egyptian Bazaar (Spice Market), famous for its variety of spices, herbs, Turkish candies and local products.
Then, boat ride across the Bosphorus Strait, followed by a visit to the historic Sultanahmet neighborhood, including the Blue Mosque, built between 1609 and 1616, with an interior decorated with 21,000 blue Iznik tiles, and the Hagia Sophia, recognized as a masterpiece of Byzantine architecture.
During the tour, stop for lunch (without drinks) at a local restaurant.
Return to the hotel.
DAY 3: ISTANBUL/CAPPADOCIA
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Half-day shared tour, with a guide in Spanish, to the Kuzguncuk neighborhood, renowned for the harmony of Greek, Armenian, Jewish, and Islamic influences.
Next, visit Beylerbeyi Palace (Beylerbeyi Palace), famous for its elegant halls and gardens bordering the Bosphorus. Stop for photos in front of Maiden's Tower, one of Istanbul's postcards often portrayed in Turkish soap operas.
Stop for lunch (without drinks) at a local restaurant. Then, walk through the Kadıköy neighborhood, experiencing the daily urban life of Istanbul, and visit the Çamlıca Mosque (Çamlıca Mosque), one of the largest in the country, with panoramic views of the city.
Shared transfer to Istanbul airport for boarding a flight to Cappadocia.
Arrival and shared transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 4: CAPPADOCIA
Breakfast at the hotel. Full-day shared tour, with guide in Spanish, through the main attractions of Cappadocia.
Start of the tour through the Devrent Valley (Devrent Valley), famous for its unique geological formations, followed by the Göreme Valley and visit the Göreme Open Air Museum, a complex of churches and caves decorated by Orthodox monks between the 9th and 13th centuries. Stop for lunch (without drinks) at a local restaurant.
Continue to Uçhisar, a village known for its natural fortresses carved into the rocks, as well as other highlights in the region.
In the evening, dinner (without drinks) at the hotel.
Suggested optional activities (not included):
- Early in the morning, a balloon ride through Cappadocia;
- In the evening, a folkloric show with belly dancing. The performances include dances with typical costumes and folk music from all regions of Turkey, in addition to an interpretation of belly dancing.
DAY 5: CAPPADOCIA/Istanbul
Breakfast at the hotel and a walk through the Kizilcukur Valley (Red Valley), famous for its reddish rock formations, followed by a visit to the underground city of Kaymakli (Kaymakli Underground City), a traditional refuge for the population during invasions.
During the tour, stop for lunch (without drinks) at a local restaurant.
Shared transfer to Cappadocia airport for boarding a flight to Istanbul. Arrival and accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
Optional activity suggestion (not included):
- 4WD tour through the Cappadocia valleys.
DAY 6: Istanbul
Breakfast at the hotel. Half-day shared tour, with guide in Spanish, to Topkapi Palace (Topkapi Palace, admission included), the first residence of the Ottoman sultans, known for their porcelain collections, treasures and pavilions.
Then, visit the historic neighborhoods of Pera and Galata. Stop for lunch (without drinks) at a local restaurant.
Visit to Taksim Square (Taksim Square) and the Süleymaniye Mosque (Süleymaniye Mosque). At the end of the tour, free time at the Grand Bazaar, considered the first and largest shopping mall in the world (closed on Sundays and holidays).
Return to the hotel.
DAY 7: ISTANBUL
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Shared transfer to Istanbul airport.
