Honeymoon in Vietnam

Hanoi, Halong Bay, Hue, Hoi an, Ho Chi Minh, Phu Quoc

Experience the best of Vietnam on this 13-day honeymoon itinerary featuring Vietnam's city, culture, cuisine, and paradisiacal beaches.

Day 1: HANOI
Arrival in Hanoi, meeting with a guide in Spanish and private transfer to the hotel for accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast. Free time for independent activities until check-in time at the hotel.

Suggested optional activities (not included):

  • Traditional Vietnamese massage;
  • Hoan Kiem Lake Tour;
  • Shopping in the Old Quarter.



Day 2: HANOI
Breakfast at the hotel and private transfer to Ba Dinh Square, the largest square in Hanoi, for a tour of the Ho Chi Minh Complex (closed Monday and Friday), which houses the Mausoleum, the picket house and the Ho Chi Minh fish tank, in addition to the one-pillar pagode (Buddhist temple). Then visit the Hoa Lo prison.

In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Literature, considered Vietnam's first university, and then the Museum of Ethnology (closed on Monday).

Suggested optional activities (not included):

  • Romantic candlelit dinner at a restaurant with live music;
  • Traditional Vietnamese massage;
  • Vietnamese cooking course;
  • Water puppet show or the show “Mi Pueblo”.



Day 3: HANOI - HALONG BAY - LAN HA
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Meet at the hotel lobby to take a private shuttle to Tuan Chau Island and board the cruise for 1 night, with full board (excluding drinks). Lunch on board and free time for independent activities.

In the afternoon, kayak or rowing boat ride along the beach. Return to the cruise and opportunity to watch a demonstration of local cuisine on board, followed by dinner.

Free evening for independent activities.

Day 4: LAN HA - HA NOI/HUE
After breakfast on board and disembark at Lan Ha for a tour to the Halong Bay Cave.

Return to the cruise and brunch served on board. Disembark and return by boat to the port of Tuan Chau, followed by bus transfer to Hanoi airport to board a flight to Hue (flight not included).

Upon arrival, reception and private transfer to the hotel for accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast. Free time for independent activities.

Suggested optional activities (not included):

  • Traditional Vietnamese massage;
  • Dinner at a riverfront restaurant.


Day 5: HUE
After breakfast at the hotel, private city tour including the Royal Citadel, the Forbidden City, and the Royal Museum of Hue.

In the afternoon, visit the Tombs of the Emperors Minh Mang and Khai Dinh. Then, transfer to the pier and board a dragon boat for a trip down the Perfume River to reach Thien Mu Pagoda.


Day 6: HUE - HOI AN
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private transfer along the Hai Van road to Hoi An, allowing you to enjoy the view of Lang Co Beach along the way. Arrival in Hoi An and accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.

Visit the Cham Museum, which houses one of the largest collections of artifacts from the Cham civilization, and the Ngu Hanh Son, also known as the Marble Mountains.

Ngu Hanh Son, is a complex of five limestone mountains located near the city of Da Nang, each mountain has a name that represents one of the five elements: Thuy (Water), Moc (Wood), Hoa (Fire), Kim (Metal) and Tho (Earth). These mountains are known for their caves, grottoes, and rock-cut pagodas, some of which date back to the prehistoric period.

In the afternoon, stroll through the old city to visit the traditional merchant houses; the Japanese bridge over 400 years old; the famous pagodas and market on the Thu Bon River. Possibility to stop for shopping at Hoi an's famous craft stores.


Day 7: HOI AN
After breakfast at the hotel, bike ride to the rural area of Hoi An city. Arrival at the organic village of Tra Que and visit to its garden. Opportunity to learn from a local farmer how to prepare the land and how to cultivate the vegetables from the garden. After the experience, time to relax by soaking your feet in water with Vietnamese herbs.

Finally, cooking class with a local chef to learn the traditional ways of preparing and cooking local Vietnamese dishes. After class, lunch (without drinks).

Return to the hotel and free time for independent activities.


Day 8: HOI AN - DA NANG/HO CHI MINH
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private transfer to Da Nang airport and board a flight to Ho Chi Minh City (flight not included). Arrival and accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.

In the afternoon, private tour of the city, visiting the Reunification Palace, an important historic site during the Vietnam War, which served as the residence of the president of South Vietnam during the war and is currently a museum that preserves the history and local architecture of the time.

Continuation of the walking tour through the old Central Post Office with a visit to the Notre Dame Cathedral, along Nguyen Hue Street to see the buildings of the Opera House and the Ho Chi Minh Committee. Finally, visit Ben Thanh Market, one of the oldest and busiest markets in the city.


Day 9: HO CHI MINH - MEKONG RIVER DELTA - HO CHI MINH
After breakfast at the hotel, travel to Ben Tre, the heart of the Mekong River Delta, for a boat ride through the narrow Cai Be canals. Then, take a Xe ride, typical local transport, through the region's quiet villages and visit a local family that earns their living with rice paper and coconut candies.

Short rest and return to the hotel with a stop to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, one of the largest pagodas in the region.


Day 10: HO CHI MINH/PHU QUOC
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private airport transfer for boarding a flight to Phu Quoc (flight not included).

Arrival and accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast.


Day 11 and 12: PHU QUOC
Breakfast at the hotel and free day for independent activities.


Day 13: PHU QUOC
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private transfer to Phu Quoc airport.
