DAY 1: Alula
Arrival at AlUla. Private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast.
AlUla, located in northwestern Saudi Arabia, stands out for its impressive archaeological sites and unique rock formations. The city is home to Hegra, the first UNESCO World Heritage Site in the country, known for its tombs sculpted by the Nabataean civilization. AlUla also preserves traces of old commercial routes and has been consolidating itself as a center for cultural and tourist initiatives.
DAY 2: Rent
Breakfast at the hotel. Private full-day tour of AlUla, with an English-speaking guide.
Visit Hegra, the first UNESCO World Heritage Site in Saudi Arabia. Formerly known as Al-Hijr or Hegra in Greek, Madain Saleh was a central city of the Nabataean Kingdom, which prospered from the 2nd century BC until the Roman conquest in 106 AD, due to its strategic location on the caravan route. It is considered the second most important city of the Nabateans, with 94 richly ornamented funerary monuments that demonstrate the architectural skill of its artisans. The guided tour explores the mysteries of its tombs, ancient inscriptions, stone structures, and other historic remains.
Then, free time to walk to the AlUla Oasis, which preserves paths shaded by palm trees and natural and historical elements of the region.
Finally, visit the old AlUla, including the Moussa Ben Noussair Castle, with a wide view of the city, the Masjid Al-Isam and the western part of the old city, where you can discover craft, clothing and jewelry stores, as well as cafes and restaurants.
Return to the hotel.
DAY 3: ALULA
Breakfast at the hotel. Private full-day tour of AlUla, with an English-speaking guide.
Visit to Maraya, located in the Ashar Valley in AlUla, is the largest mirrored building in the world. The venue is a multifunctional space for concerts, events and conferences with a mirrored façade that reflects the surrounding sandstone cliffs.
Then, visit Dadan, the ancient capital of the kingdoms of Dadan and Liyan, which presents inscriptions and several ancient tombs, and Jabal Ikmah, which brings together several ancient inscriptions in Aramaic, Minaic, Nabatean, Tamudic and Dadanitic in an open-air space, functioning as a natural library.
In the late afternoon, visit the Elephant Rock geological formation, a frequently sought after place for photography and stargazing.
Return to the hotel.
Day 4: Alula - Red Sea
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private transfer of about 2 hours and 30 minutes to the port, followed by regular speedboat transfer to the chosen resort.
Accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast.
The Red Sea, located off the west coast of Saudi Arabia, is renowned for its beaches, coral reefs, and islands. The region is home to tourism projects aimed at ecotourism and activities such as diving, snorkeling, and marine life observation. The place combines natural elements and sustainable development, and is an expanding destination in the country's tourism sector.
DAY 5 and 6: RED SEA Free
days for independent activities.
DAY 7: Red Sea
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Regular speedboat transfer to the port followed by land transfer to the Red Sea airport.
