Itinerary in Botswana combining properties that allow for the best impressions in the country.
DAY 1: KASANE - CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
Arrival in Kasane and transfer to the lodge in Chobe National Park. Accommodation for 2 nights with full board, drinks and safaris.
DAY 2: CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
Breakfast at the lodge and departure for a safari first thing in the morning. As it is a riverfront accommodation, it is possible to choose between water and land activities. River rides, in small, easy-to-maneuver boats, are ideal for observing animals. Those who wish to experience some of Namibia's local traditions can take a cultural visit to one of the neighboring communities, where one can observe the ancient heritage of the local population.
DAY 3: CHOBE NATIONAL PARK/Moremi Reserve
After breakfast at the lodge, transfer to the local airport to board a flight to the Moremi Reserve region. Upon disembarkation, transfer to the lodge for 2-night accommodation with full board, drinks and photo safaris.
DAY 4: RESERVE MOREMI
Breakfast at the lodge. After a morning safari, return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, safari to observe the nocturnal animals. In addition to many elephants, herds of lions, leopards, and hippopotamuses, this area is known for large numbers of antelopes, including impalas, kudus, and waterbucks. The imposing osprey and the vivid malachite osprey are frequently seen, and even Pel's rare osprey owl pays an occasional visit. Great opportunity for birdwatching.
Return to the lodge for dinner.
DAY 5: MOREMI RESERVE/MAKGADIKGADI PANS NATIONAL PARK Breakfast at the lodge and departure for a
safari through the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. Upon disembarkation, transfer to the lodge for 2-night accommodation with full board, drinks and safaris.
DAY 6: MAKGADIKGADI PANS NATIONAL PARK
Breakfast at the lodge and departure for a safari through the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, focusing on wildlife sightings along the Boteti River. Depending on the water level, boating activities are also provided. Lions, zebras, and wildebeests are easily found in the region. In addition, it is also possible to spot geckos, leopards, cheetahs, brown and spotted hyenas, impalas, kudus, checais, porcupines, and other animals.
Return to the lodge for dinner.
DAY 7: MAKGADIKGADI PANS/MAUN NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast at the lodge, transfer to the local airport for boarding a flight to Maun.
THIS ITINERARY INCLUDES:
- Domestic flights between Chobe National Park/Moremi Reserve/Makgadikgadi Pans National Park/Maun, in economy class, with small aircraft. Baggage allowance: 1 flexible suitcase, weighing up to 15 kg per person (including hand luggage and camera);
- Accommodation for 2 nights in Chobe National Park, with full board and selected drinks;
- Accommodation for 2 nights at the Moremi Reserve, with full board and selected drinks;
