Croatian coast: Split, Hvar and Dubrovnik

Experience along the Croatian coast, combining the charm of Split, the beaches of Hvar and the history of Dubrovnik.
Day 1: SPLIT
Arrival at Split airport and private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
The main city in the Dalmatia region is also an open-air museum. Split is known for housing a grand 4th century palace built by the Roman Emperor Diocletian, as well as having beautiful beaches that can be explored on a boat trip.
Day 2: SPLIT
Breakfast at the hotel. 2-hour private tour, with a guide in Spanish or Portuguese, in Split.
Walk through the Old City, including the Diocletian's Palace, considered one of the most significant structures in Late Antiquity architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Free afternoon for independent activities.
Suggested optional activities (not included):
- Visit to the Ivan Mestrovic Gallery, dedicated to the work of the renowned 20th century sculptor, Ivan Mestrovic.
- Visit to the film studios of the series “Game of Thrones”;
- Hike up the Marjan hill, wooded with Mediterranean cypress and pine trees;
- Visit the Diocletian's Palace, a former Roman imperial residence, which currently houses residential houses, shops and restaurants.
Day 3: SPLIT - HVAR
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private transfer to the port of Split for boarding a catamaran bound for Hvar (about 50 minutes).
Arrival and private tour of approximately 2 hours, with a guide in English or Spanish, through the main points of Hvar, a city with a rich history that came to the fore during the Middle Ages as an important port of the Republic of Venice. It is currently known for its small beaches, elegantly preserved Gothic palaces and charming marble streets exclusive to pedestrians.
At the end of the tour, transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast. Free afternoon for independent activities.
Note: during the high season, from June to August, catamarans depart in the morning and afternoon; in the other months, the departures are only in the afternoon.
Day 4: HVAR
Breakfast at the hotel and free day for independent activities.
Suggested optional activities (not included):
- Speedboat ride in the Blue Grotto;
- Trip to the Pakleni Islands, an archipelago with 20 mini islands of stunning beauty;
- Visit to the terrace of the Hvar theater, considered one of the oldest theaters in Europe, offering panoramic views of the city and the port;
- Visit Bonj Beach, known for its crystal clear waters and sophisticated atmosphere.
Day 5: HVAR - DUBROVNIK
After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, presentation at the port of Hvar for boarding a catamaran bound for Dubrovnik (approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes).
Arrival in Dubrovnik and private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast.
Divided between a medieval city and beautiful beaches, Dubrovnik is the most popular destination in Croatia. At any time of the year it is possible to be enchanted by the city, which combines history, nature, architecture and good cuisine.
Note: The catamaran from Hvar to Dubrovnik does not operate between the months of November and May. In these months, the trip takes place by catamaran to Split, followed by a private land transfer to the hotel in Dubrovnik.
Day 6: DUBROVNIK
After breakfast at the hotel, there will be a private half-day tour of the Old City of Dubrovnik, with a guide in Spanish or Portuguese.
The tour will start at the Pile Gate, the main entrance to the Old City, following a labyrinth of narrow streets and palaces, such as the Sponza Palace, as well as churches such as the São Brás Church. Along Stradun, the city's main thoroughfare, you'll arrive at Dubrovnik Cathedral and the Rector's Palace, revealing the harmony between the civil and religious power that supported Dubrovnik as the Republic of Ragusa for around 450 years.
After the tour, return to the hotel and free afternoon for independent activities.
Day 7: DUBROVNIK
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day for independent activities.
Day 8: DUBROVNIK
After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, private transfer to Dubrovnik airport.
