Discover the wonders of Morocco on this 11-day group itinerary, departing from the Costa del Sol region of Spain.
DAY 1: ALGECIRAS - TANGIER
Presentation on behalf of the passenger, at the port of Algeciras (without a guide) to cross by ferry on a journey of about 2 hours to the port of Tangier, in Morocco.
Arrival and transfer to the hotel for accommodation for 1 night, with half board (excluding drinks).
DAY 2: TANGIER - CHEFCHAOUEN - CASABLANCA
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Travel about 430 km to Casablanca with a stop in Chefchaouen for a brief visit.
Chefchaouen is one of the charming towns in the Rif mountain range, known for its Medina of shady alleys, whitewashed houses with turquoise doors, wrought-iron windows and tiled roofs. During the tour, optional lunch (not included).
Arrival in Casablanca and accommodation for 1 night, with half board (excluding drinks).
DAY 3: CASABLANCA - MEKNES - VOLUBILIS - FEZ
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Morocco's economic city tour. Passage through the Habous neighborhood, the Royal Palace, Mohamed V Square, the residential area of Anfa and the exterior of the Hassan II Mosque.
Travel of about 240 km to Meknes, where the famous entrance to the imperial city is located. In Meknes, a panoramic visit to the Bab Mansour gate, the royal stables, and the Jewish quarter. During the tour, optional lunch (not included).
Continuation of the trip with a panoramic tour of the sacred city of Moulay Driss and a visit to the Roman ruins of Volubilis.
Arrival in Fez and accommodation for 2 nights, with half board.
DAY 4: FEZ
After breakfast at the hotel, full day city tour. Visit the Medieval Medina and its souks, the Royal Palace, the Attarine or Bou Anania Medersa Muslim school, the Nejjarine fountain and the outside of the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum and the Karaouine Mosque.
During the tour, optional lunch (not included) at a traditional restaurant in the Medina.
DAY 5: FEZ - RABAT - MARRAKECH
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Departure to the administrative capital, Rabat, on a journey of about 210km. Visit to the Royal Palace (Mechouar), the Kasbah of the Udaias, the Mohamed V Mausoleum and the Hassan Tower Mosque.
In Rabat, optional lunch (not included), at a restaurant with seafood specialties.
Continuation of the trip on a route of approximately 328 km to Marrakech. Accommodation for 2 nights, with half board (on the 6th day, it includes breakfast and lunch instead of breakfast and dinner).
DAY 6: MARRAKECH
After breakfast at the hotel, full-day tour of Marrakech, the second oldest imperial city, called “the pearl of the south”. Visit to the Menara Garden, the Bahia Palace, the Kutubiya Mosque and the Dar Si Said Museum.
After lunch at the hotel, visit the souks, craft houses and Jemaa El-Fna Square.
In the evening, dinner with optional show (not included).
DAY 7: MARRAKECH - AIT BEN HADDOU - ZAGORA
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Travel about 180 km to Ait Ben Haddou, crossing the Tizi n'Tichka pass. Visit its famous Kasbah, which served as the setting for many movies, such as Troy and Gladiator. Optional lunch stop (not included).
Continuation of the trip to Zagora, crossing the Draa Valley. Accommodation for 1 night, with half board (without drinks).
DAY 8: ZAGORA - NKOB - TAZZARINE -
ERFOUD Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Travel of approximately 300KM to Erfoud, passing through the village of Tamegroute, known for its ceramic center. Optional lunch stop (not included).
Continuation of the trip through the village of Rissani, the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty. Arrival and accommodation for 1 night, with half board.
Suggested optional activities (not included):
- Camel ride amidst the Merzouga dunes.
- “Optional” camel ride amidst the Merzouga dunes, dinner and accommodation at a desert camp.
DAY 9: ERFOUD - TINGHIR - OUARZAZATE
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Tour to the Todra Gorge, where the rocks reach an altitude of 250 meters. Optional lunch stop (not included).
Journey to Ouarzazate. Along the way, pass through the 1000 kasbahs road, the city of Kelaat-M'Gouna and the commune of Skoura.
Accommodation for 1 night, with half board (without drinks).
DAY 10: OUARZAZATE - MARRAKECH - CASABLANCA
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Trip to Casablanca and accommodation for 1 night, with half board (excluding drinks). Optional lunch (not included).
Free afternoon for independent activities.
DAY 11: CASABLANCA - TANGIER - ALGECIRAS - COSTA DO SOL
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Transfer of approximately 330 km to the port of Tangier, followed by ferry to the port of Algeciras. Arrival and transfer to the Costa do Sol.
