Essaouira, Marrakech

Morocco honeymoon experience that combines coastal village tours, cultural experiences, vineyards, gardens in Marrakech, and adventure in the Atlas Mountains and the Agafay desert.
DAY 1: MARRAKECH - ESSAOUIRA
Arrival in Marrakech, fast track at the airport and private transfer to Essaouira (approximately 3 hours, without stops). Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
The trip continues towards the Atlantic coast, stopping at a women's cooperative where it will be possible to learn about the production process of the famous Argan oil, recognized for its cosmetic and culinary benefits.
Arrival to Essaouira, a historic city with islands inhabited since the 7th century BC and known for its creative atmosphere and workshops of local artisans. Visit to Fortaleza Skala, the setting for the movie Othello, by Orson Welles, in 1949, for craft classes at local workshops.
DAY 2: ESSAOUIRA
After breakfast at the Hotel, a half-day shared tour with a guide in Spanish through the ancient Portuguese city of Essaouira, formerly called Mogador. Famous for its white-walled, blue-walled Medina, Essaouira offers a tranquil atmosphere and enjoys a rich mix of cultural influences.
The tour includes a visit to the Skala Fortress to experience local artisans. Return to the Hotel and free afternoon for independent activities.
DAY 3: ESSAOUIRA - MARRAKECH
Breakfast and check-out at the Hotel. Private transfer to Marrakech (approximately 3 hours, without stops).
Considered the heart of Morocco, Marrakech is marked by the diversity of Berber, Arab and African influences, where palaces and historic monuments are combined with the contagious energy of Djemâa el Fna Square, famous for its street vendors, musicians and snake charmers. The city is also called Pearl of the South, Red City, and Jewel of the South.
Along the way, stop for a harmonized lunch at the Val d'Argan Vineyard with selected beverages, founded in 1994 by Charles Melia and recognized for the excellence of its wines and the preservation of traditional techniques.
Arrival and check-in at the Hotel in Marrakech. Accommodation for 4 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 4: MARRAKECH
After breakfast at the hotel, full-day shared tour with a guide in Spanish, through the main points of the City Ocre (Marrakech).
Passage through the alleys of the Medina of Marrakech, where the traditional souks, open-air markets, offer a variety of textiles, clothes, and Moroccan crafts, amidst colorful alleys and workshops for specific crafts. Then, visit Jemaa El Fna Square, one of the city's main squares.
Continue to the Koutoubia Mosque, one of the city's main symbols. Its architecture can be admired from the gardens and the square. Then, visit the Bahia Palace, a highlight of Arab-Andalusian architecture with its courtyards, fountains and lush gardens, in addition to the Medersa Ben Youssef, the largest religious school in the Maghreb, famous for its rich details in tiles, carved wood and stucco.
Walk through Mellah, the Jewish neighborhood of Marrakech, with a highlight of its synagogues, the Miaara Cemetery and the Salat el Alzama Synagogue.
Tour Le Jardin Secret, a restored 19th-century palace located in the center of the Medina, where you can observe local culture and crafts. Return to the Hotel.
DAY 5: MARRAKECH
Breakfast at the Hotel and shared tour with a guide in Spanish through the gardens of Marrakech, starting at the Menara Gardens, known for their romantic and tranquil environment surrounded by extensive olive groves, ideal for a relaxing walk away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Then, visit the Majorelle Gardens, created in 1924 by French artist Jacques Majorelle, which bring together cobalt blue buildings, exotic woods, lakes with lilies, sculptural cacti and a wide variety of plants, such as bamboos, bougainvilleas and palm trees. Streams and lakes that cut through the garden provide even more serenity to the place.
DAY 6: MARRAKECH - ATLAS MOUNTAINS - MARRAKECH
After breakfast at the hotel, departure in a 4x4 vehicle with driver to cross the panoramic landscapes of the Atlas Mountains (approximately 1 hour, without stops), passing through Berber villages and scenarios that reveal the daily life of local communities in the high Moroccan mountains.
Upon arrival at a campsite located in the rocky desert, or Agafay Desert, ride a camel to observe the views of the Atlas. Then experience an ATV ride through the desert terrain.
In the evening, traditional dinner at the camp, surrounded by the silence and beauty of the desert. Finally, return to the Hotel in Marrakech.
DAY 7: MARRAKECH
Breakfast and check-out at the Hotel. Private transfer to Marrakech airport.
