DAY 1: MARRAKECH
Arrival in Marrakech and transfer to the hotel for accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
Free time for independent activities and enjoying the hotel.
DAY 2: MARRAKECH - AGAFAY
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Transfer to Agafay on a journey of about 40 km. In Agafay, accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast and dinner.
Agafay is a mountainous and desert region characterized by its arid and rocky landscapes. Home to some traditional Berber villages, which maintain their ancient traditions and culture.
Free time for independent activities.
DAY 3: AGAFAY - ESSAOUIRA
After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, travel about 183 km to Essaouira, the idyllic fishing village. Essaouira is famous for its historic architecture, beaches, and constant wind, which makes it a popular destination for windsurfers and kitesurfers.
In the afternoon, visit the Medina of Essaouira, a historic walled city that was built in the 18th century and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and La Scala, built in 1765 to defend itself against attacks from the sea. Possibility to recognize the strength of the 'Game of Thrones' series.
Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
DAY 4: ESSAOUIRA - MARRAKECH
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Travel of about 2h45 to Marrakech. Accommodation for 4 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 5: MARRAKECH
Breakfast at the hotel and free day for independent activities.
DAY 6: MARRAKECH
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure on a half-day tour of Marrakech, the second oldest imperial city, also known as 'the pearl of the south', to discover its greatest historical and cultural sights, such as the Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace and the Ben Youssef Madrasa.
After stopping for lunch (not included), continue the visit to the souks, craft districts and the famous Djemaa El Fna square.
DAY 7: MARRAKECH
Breakfast at the hotel and free day for independent activities.
Suggested optional activities (not included):
- Visit to the Majorelle Garden. Created by French painter Jacques Majorelle in the 1920s and later restored by Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé, the garden combines exotic plant species, fountains and the famous deep blue tone known as Majorelle blue.
- Early in the morning, a balloon ride in Palm Grove, flying over from the Atlas Mountains to the Berber villages.
- Tour the Medina in a side car (attached to a motorbike).
- Perfumery class with an expert and self-authored perfume preparation.
DAY 8: MARRAKECH
After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, transfer to the airport.
