Casablanca, Fez, Erfoud, Merzouga, Ouarzazate, Marrakech
Group trip of up to 10 travelers, with a guide in Portuguese, for authentic experiences among souks, typical flavors and architectural treasures of this fascinating destination.
DAY 1 (FRIDAY): CASABLANCA
Arrival in Casablanca and shared transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 1 night, with half board.
In the afternoon, half-day tour with a guide in Spanish, with knowledge in Portuguese. Visit to the Hassan II Mosque, Mohammed V Square, the administrative center of the city where several public buildings are located, and the Corniche region, a coastal area that concentrates restaurants and leisure areas.
In the evening, dinner (without drinks) at Rick's Café, a restaurant inspired by the famous movie Casablanca.
DAY 2 (SATURDAY): CASABLANCA - RABAT - MEKNES - FEZ
After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, drive to Fez (about 3 hours and 20 minutes).
Along the way, a brief tour of the main historic landmarks of the city of Rabat.
Then stop at the Château Roslane winery, located just outside Meknes for a wine tasting and lunch (excluding drinks).
Brief visit to the main points of Meknes and continuation of the trip to Fez.
Arrival in Fez and accommodation for 2 nights, with half board.
DAY 3 (SUNDAY): FEZ
After breakfast, half-day tour, with a guide in Spanish, with knowledge in Portuguese, in Fez.
Visit the main points of the city, especially the Mellah Jewish Quarter, with its monumental doors, the Al Quaraouiyine University and the alleys of the Medina.
Then, visit a ceramic studio for an artistic activity, to decorate the handmade piece. After the creation is finalized, the piece is delivered at the end of the trip.
Return to the hotel and dinner (without drinks).
DAY 4 (MONDAY): FEZ - IFRANE - MIDELT - ERFOUD
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Trip to the hotel in Erfoud (about 6 hours and 30 minutes), passing through the Atlas Mountains, the city of Ifrane and the Ziz Valley.
Arrival and accommodation for 1 night, with half board.
DAY 5 (TUESDAY): ERFOUD - RISSANI - MERZOUGA
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Shared transfer to Merzouga (about 1 hour).
During the trip, visit the village of Rissani and its traditional souk, with a stop for tea time with a nomadic family, providing an exchange of stories and understanding of the lifestyle in the desert. Then stop for lunch (without drinks).
Continue in a 4x4 vehicle through the Erg Chebbi dunes to the camp. Arrival and accommodation in the desert for 1 night, with half board.
DAY 6 (WEDNESDAY): MERZOUGA - GORGES DU TODRA - SKOURA - OUARZAZATE
After breakfast and check-out, drive to Ouarzazate (about 5 hours and 20 minutes).
Along the way, visit the Gorges du Todra, a group of gorges formed by the action of water, and the Dades Valley, an area marked by rock formations and watercourses.
If time permits, stop in Skoura and visit the Kasbah of Skoura, an old earthen building located amidst palm trees.
Arrival and accommodation for 1 night, with half board.
DAY 7 (THURSDAY): OUARZAZATE - AIT BENHADDOU - MARRAKECH
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Half-day shared tour, with a guide in Spanish, with knowledge in Portuguese, in Ouarzazate.
Panoramic tour of Ouarzazate to visit Kasbah Taourirt where the movie studios are located.
Stop to visit Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the scene of famous movie productions such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones.
Cross the Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N'Tichka pass.
Arrival in Marrakech. Accommodation for 2 nights, with half board.
DAY 8 (FRIDAY): MARRAKECH
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day shared tour, with guide in Spanish, with knowledge in Portuguese in Marrakech.
Guided tour of the Medina and its historic monuments: Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace and Saadian Tombs.
Then, Moroccan culinary experience at the Marrakech Culinary Art Museum to prepare typical dishes, with lunch included (without drinks).
In the afternoon, visit the Souks and Jemaa el-Fna Square.
DAY 9 (SATURDAY): MARRAKECH
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Shared transfer to Marrakech airport.
