England First Impressions

From vibrant London to the charming villages of the Cotswolds, every nook and cranny reveals fascinating stories and unparalleled beauty.
DAY 1: CAMBRIDGE
Arrival at the university city of Cambridge and accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
Free afternoon for independent activities.

- Half-day tour of the city, where you can admire the architecture of different periods of the University Colleges, such as the one at the University of Cambridge.
DAY 2: CAMBRIDGE - YORK
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private transfer of about 3 hours to the city of York, stopping in Sherwood Forest, where the legend of Robin Hood was born. Stop for lunch (not included).
After lunch, walk through the city's medieval streets to discover the largest Gothic cathedral in Northern Europe and the medieval wall.

DAY 3: YORK - BARNARD CASTLE - LAKE DISTRICT - LIVERPOOL
Breakfast and hotel check-out. Travel to the Yorkshire countryside to the medieval city of Barnard Castle to discover its legendary streets. Then, pass through the “Yorkshire Dales” National Park, also known as “Yorkshire Penines”, a mountainous region considered to be the country's backbone. It is characterized by green valleys, hills and preserved landscapes, which inspired romantic poets and offer a sense of tranquility.
Continuation of the tour to the Lake District, one of the most beautiful regions in the country, a place that inspired countless English romantic poets.
Free time for lunch (not included), followed by a boat ride across Lake Windermere.
At the end of the day, arrival in Liverpool, famous as the Beatles' city. Visit the Cavern Club, where the Beatles played nearly 300 shows.

DAY 4: LIVERPOOL - CHESTER - LIVERPOOL
After breakfast, private half-day tour of Chester, a walled city of Roman origin that seems to have come out of a fairytale. Walk around the city with its 'Black & White' Neo-Tudor-style wooden façade houses and its Gothic cathedral. Free time for independent activities.
Return to Liverpool and a panoramic tour to discover the city of The Beatles and the places that inspired many of their songs. Passage through the Catholic Metropolitan Cathedral and the Anglican Cathedral.
Free afternoon for optional activities.

- Visit the city's port area (Albert Dock), where you can find the Merseyside Maritime Museum; the 'Tate' Gallery, the Liverpool Museum, the British Music Experience and The Beatles Story museum.
DAY 5: LIVERPOOL - STRATFORD UPON AVON - BOURTON ON THE WATER - BATH
After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, drive to Stratford Upon-Avon, a charming city on the banks of the River Avon and the birthplace of the playwright William Shakespeare.
Short panoramic tour and stop for lunch (not included).
Continue through the picturesque villages of the Cotswolds region to Bourton-on-the-Water, the 'Venice of the Cotswolds'. Short stop and free time for independent activities.
Arrival in Bath, a city known for being the filming location of the series Bridgerton and accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
DAY 6: BATH - STONEHENGE - WINCHESTER - SOUTHAMPTON
Breakfast, hotel check-out and short city tour.
Journey of about 1 hour to the Stonehenge monument. It is the central point of Salisbury Plain, with a mysterious landscape filled with prehistoric tombs and engravings, now recognized as a World Heritage Site. The grand and ancient stone circle of Stonehenge, with more than 5,000 years of history, is one of the most famous prehistoric monuments in the world and, for centuries, has awakened the imagination of those who visit it.
Continuation of the trip to the city of Winchester, capital of Anglo-Saxon England, and brief walk around the city.
At the end of the day, arrival in Southampton and accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
DAY 7: SOUTHAMPTON - ARUNDEL - BRIGHTON - RYE - LONDON
Breakfast and hotel check-out. Journey to Arundel, renowned for its medieval castle, and home to the Dukes of Norfolk for over 700 years.
Continue to Brighton, a coastal city and tourist destination since 1780. The Royal Pavilion and the modern British Airways i360 viewpoint stand out.
Stop for lunch (not included) and then a tour of Rye, a medieval city and important English port against French attacks.
Finally, arrival in London and a brief panoramic tour of the “Docklands”, where the imposing skyscrapers of the Canary Wharf financial district and the Tower of London are located.
