15-day Package combining the most interesting things about Sri Lanka, from its rich history to lush nature.
DAY 1: COLOMBO - KOTUGODA Arrival
at Colombo airport, reception and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
DAY 2: KOTUGODA - ANURADAPURA
After breakfast and hotel check-out, private transfer to Anuradapura (about 4 hours and 30 minutes).
Arrival and accommodation for 3 nights, with half board.
Welcome dinner (without drinks) at “kamatha”, a traditional rice sorting area.
DAY 3: ANURADAPURA
After breakfast, private tour, with an English-speaking guide, to the Organic Garden.
Visit to discover Sri Lankan organic agriculture and the organic herb and vegetable garden, with the possibility of picking fresh and juicy fruits and vegetables for lunch (not included). Then, visit the healthy traditional cuisine, where the selected herbs and vegetables will be transformed into regional dishes.
In the afternoon, private bike tour of the city, to the archaeological sites of the ancient kingdom of Anuradapura, alongside rice fields, hidden villages and historic irrigation systems, monumental structures such as Abayagiri Dagoba.
Stop for a picnic (not included) at the Elephant Lake while watching the Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi tree, a descendant of the tree under which the Buddha attained Enlightenment.
Barbecue-style dinner (without drinks) at the hotel.
DAY 4: ANURADAPURA - SIGIRIYA -
ANURADAPURA Early in the morning, breakfast at the hotel. Private transfer to Sigiriya (about 1 hour).
Also known as Lion's Rock, it is a historic site built on a rock in the 5th century. It served as a palace, rock fortress, hidden castle of King Kasyapa, and Buddhist monastery starting in the 14th century. The climb includes 1200 steps, starting with a walk through the leisure gardens, and can take up to 2 hours.
Note: Water is provided, and it is recommended to bring an umbrella if rain is forecast.
In the afternoon, transfer to Polonnaruva (about 1 hour and 30 minutes) to visit the old city. It is the second oldest kingdom in Sri Lanka, first declared as capital by King Vijayabahu I in 1070. It is one of the best-planned archaeological sites, showing the discipline and greatness of the kingdom's rulers.
DAY 5: ANURADAPURA - MATALE - KANDY
Breakfast and hotel check-out. Private transfer via Matale to Kandy (about 3 hours and 30 minutes).
Stop at a rural village in Matale and visit a farm overlooking the Aluvihare Mountains, while learning about Sri Lankan products, from chili peppers to papayas, cacao to coconut, and mango to mahogany. Traditional lunch (without drinks) at the farm.
Continuation of the trip to Kandy. Arrival and accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 6: KANDY
Breakfast at the hotel. Half-day private tour with English-speaking guide to the Temple of the Relic of the Sacred Tooth.
Walk to the city center next to Lake Kandy and visit the Temple of the Tooth, to learn the stories of Sri Lanka's last kingdom.
The tour includes visits to a local church, Ali Mudukkuwa's shops, the city's clock tower, a stop at the Empire Café (extra costs not included) and ending at the Kandy Market.
DAY 7: KANDY - hatton
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, there will be a private transfer to Peradeniya station for boarding a train bound for Hatton.
The scenic trip lasts approximately 2 hours, allowing you to enjoy the highland landscape while passing lush tea plantations, majestic peaks, and mighty waterfalls.
Upon arrival, there will be a private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 2 nights, with All inclusive.
DAY 8: HatTon
After breakfast, we will take a regular half-day tour to a plantation and tea factory.
Free afternoon for independent activities.
DAY 9: HATTON - Yala
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, private transfer to Yala (about 4 hours).
Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 2 nights, with All inclusive.

DAY 10: YALA Early in
the morning, regular safari to Yala National Park, the second largest in the country. It consists of five blocks, two of which are now open to the public. The park covers 979 km² and was designated as a wildlife sanctuary in 1900.
Return to the hotel for breakfast.
In the afternoon, regular safari in Yala National Park to observe animal life.
DAY 11: YALA - Tangalle
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, private transfer to Tangalle (about 2 hours and 30 minutes).
Arrival and accommodation for 4 nights, with breakfast. Rest of the day free.
DAY 12 to 14: Tangalle
Breakfast at the hotel. Free days to take advantage of the hotel facilities or to carry out independent activities, with a driver available.
DAY 15: Tangalle - Colombo
Breakfast, hotel check-out and private transfer to Colombo airport (about 3 hours).
