Victoria Falls, Mana Pools National Park, Hwange National Park

9-day trip to discover the diversity of Zimbabwe, between the grandeur of Victoria Falls, the wildlife of Hwange National Park and the pristine nature of Mana Pools.

Day 1: VICTORIA falls
Arrival at Victoria Falls and private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.

Victoria Falls, located in Zimbabwe, is known for its large waterfall on the Zambezi River. The city serves as an access point to Victoria Falls National Park and offers activities related to nature and adventure tourism. The region attracts visitors interested in wildlife watching, boating, and extreme sports.


Day 2: VICTORIA FALLS
After breakfast, private half-day tour to Victoria Falls, with an English-speaking guide, one of the largest waterfall formations in Africa, located on the Zambezi River, on the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia.

Return to the hotel and free time for independent activities.

In the late afternoon, regular cruise, lasting approximately 2 hours, at sunset on the Zambezi River. On the boat, snacks and cocktails complete the Zambezi River boat experience.

Return to the hotel.

DAY 3:
VICTORIA FALLS/
MANA POOLS NATIONAL PARK
Breakfast and check-out at the lodge, private transfer to Victoria Falls airport, for boarding a domestic flight to the Mana airstrip. Arrival and regular transfer to the Mana camp (seasonal safari camp, set up in tents on the banks of the Zambezi River), accommodation for 2 nights, with full board.

Mana Pools, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is located in northern Zimbabwe, close to floodplains, riverine forests, and mountains of Zambia. In the Shona language, mana means four, a reference to the four permanent pools formed by the Zambezi River.

The banks are home to riverine mahogany forests, wild fig trees, and baobabs, while the park has the largest population of hippopotamuses and crocodiles in Zimbabwe. Elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and birds inhabit its natural pools. During the dry season, elephants balance on their hind legs to reach baobab leaves, creating unique wildlife scenes.


Day 4: MANA POOLS NATIONAL PARK
Day dedicated to activities organized and offered by the lodge or to the stay at the camp, following the wildlife that circulates around the place.

Available activities:

  • Walking Safaris: exploring Mana Pools on foot allows you to closely monitor the nature of the ecosystem. The park offers ancient animal trails and river banks where it is possible to observe species such as the crimson kingfisher and the aquatic antelope.
  • 4×4 vehicle safaris: a safari through Mana Pools National Park offers a complete experience. Located in the Albida forest, the park maintains its wild character, allowing you to experience the fauna and landscape in a safe way, always accompanied by a professional guide.
  • Sunset Boat Trip: Sunset is a recommended activity in Zimbabwe. While navigating the Zambezi, guests follow the landscape and life surrounding the river.



DAY 5: MANA POOLS
NATIONAL PARK
Breakfast and departure from the campsite to another region of the Mana Pools National Park, just 50 meters from the bustling Chitake River, a point that attracts animals in search of water.

Arrival at the lodge and accommodation for 2 nights, with full board.

In the afternoon, departure for a safari in a 4x4 vehicle, exploring the park's varied landscapes, in addition to the possibility of spotting elephants, lions and other animals.


DAY 6: MANA POOLS NATIONAL PARK
Early in the morning, departure for a walking safari. Opportunity to connect with nature on foot and learn about the details of the ecosystem, such as animal tracks, bird songs, and medicinal plants.

In the afternoon, departure for a safari in a 4x4 vehicle or an animal and bird watching hike. The region is considered a paradise for observers, home to more than 400 species, including the rare African Pitta.


DAY 7: MANA POOLS NATIONAL PARK/hwange national park
After breakfast and check-out at the lodge, transfer to the Ruckomechi airstrip to board a domestic flight to the Robins airstrip.

Arrival and accommodation for 2 nights, with full board.


Hwang e National Park, the largest wildlife reserve in Zimbabwe with 14,650 km², is home to approximately 40,000 elephants and more than 100 mammal species. Located in the northwest of the country, close to the borders with Botswana and 100 km from Victoria Falls, the park features landscapes that range from open savannas to mopane forests and rock formations.

During the dry season, between July and October, the animals are concentrated around the water points, offering opportunities to observe fauna that includes lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras and more than 400 species of birds.


DAY 8: HWANGE NATIONAL PARK Full
day of activities offered by the lodge: safaris in a 4x4 vehicle and walking safaris, providing an immersion in the wild nature of Hwange. Opportunity to observe the park's rich wildlife, from large herds of elephants and elegant antelopes to discreet predators, such as lions and leopards.



Day 9:
HWANGE NATIONAL PARK - Victoria falls
Breakfast and check-out at the lodge. Regular shuttle to Victoria Falls airport.
