Day 1: HARARE/MANA POOLS NATIONAL PARK
Arrival at Harare airport and board a small aircraft for a flight to the Mana Pools airstrip. Arrival and regular transfer to the lodge.
Accommodation for 3 nights, with full board.
Day 2 and 3: MANA POOLS NATIONAL PARK
Days to enjoy the safari activities offered by Zambezi Expeditions, such as morning and afternoon safaris, night safaris, walking safaris, canoe safaris, and lakeside sport fishing.
Zambezi Expeditions is a semi-mobile camp and offers one of the best ways to explore and experience Mana Pools on the banks of the wonderful Zambezi River. Mana Pools National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to an incredible diversity of wildlife. Its floodplains are a sanctuary for wild dog packs, elephant herds, and various types of birds.
With breathtaking landscapes on the banks of the Zambezi River, the lodge offers one of the most incredible canoeing and sport fishing adventures in Africa, creating the perfect combination of beauty, adventure and fun.
Day 4: MANA POOLS NATIONAL PARK
Breakfast at the lodge, check-out and regular transfer to the next lodge, Kanga Camp, in Mana Pools National Park.
Day 5 and 6: MANA POOLS NATIONAL PARK
Days to enjoy the safari activities offered by Kanga Camp, such as morning and afternoon safaris, night safaris, walking safaris, “armchair safari” and the photographic experience of the animals in hidden cameras (subject to the water level of the Kanga Pan).
Kanga Camp is located in a remote part of Mana Pools National Park, on the edge of a lake that bears the same name, Kanga Pan. This lake is the only permanent source of water within a radius of 20 km, so various types of animals end up frequent the area, especially in the dry season, creating the perfect setting for our famous “Armchair Safari”.
Day 7: MANA POOLS NATIONAL PARK/HARARE AIRPORT
Breakfast at the lodge and check-out. Regular transfer to the Dandawa airstrip to board a flight bound for Harare Airport.
this itinerary includes:
- Domestic airfare in Zimbabwe between Harare/Mana Pools and Dandawa/Harare, in economy class, with small aircraft. Baggage allowance: 1 flexible suitcase, weighing up to 15 kg per person
- Accommodation for 3 nights at the Mana Pools National Park at Zambezi Expeditions, with full board;
- Accommodation for 3 nights at Mana Pools National Park at Kanga Camp, with full board;
- Regular transfers between the Mana Pools airstrip/Zambezi Expeditions lodge/Kanga Camp lodge/Dandawa airstrip;
- Regular safari activities organized by the lodge, with an English-speaking guide;
