Destination Caucasus

With a lot of cultural diversity and natural beauty, the Caucasus is a destination like few others.
A meeting of cultures and continents
Located between the shores of the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea, the Caucasus is a transcontinental region that is divided into three independent countries, namely Georgia and Armenia (on the western and European side) and Azerbaijan (on the Asian side).
On the north side there are other countries that consider themselves to belong to the Caucasian region, however, they still belong to the Republic of Russia and are therefore not recognized as independent by the international community, as is the case of Chechnya.
Although a relatively small region, the Caucasus marks the meeting of the European and Asian continents, and although they have experienced centuries of territorial disputes and the domination of the Soviet Union, they have maintained their proudly distinct and vivid cultures and traditions.
Each of the Caucasus countries has its own glories and peculiarities for visitors to explore. Among the three destinations there are idyllic farms, historic vineyards and a beautiful group of ruined fortresses and centuries-old churches dramatically located in picturesque settings that are crowned by the hospitality offered by local residents, who, although they have survived difficult times, know how to welcome visitors who come from afar to learn about their culture.
