Explore Patagonia National Park, a hidden gem created by Douglas and Kristine Tompkins, located in the heart of Chile's Carretera Austral.
DAY 1: BALMACEDA - PATAGONIA NATIONAL PARK
Arrival at Balmaceda airport and regular transfer to Explora Patagonia National Park, on a land trip of approximately 6 hours. Accommodation for 4 nights on an all-inclusive basis (all meals, snacks and selected beverages).
Located in the Patagonian National Park, the hotel offers a more intimate and remote atmosphere, offering explorations in and around the Chacabuco Valley, through hiking, cycling (e-bike too), kayaking and guided van tours. The region is also filled with natural beauty and wildlife, including more than 100 bird species. Programs include lodging, transportation between the airport and the hotel, meals, beverages, and a selection of more than 40 exploration activities.
DAY 2 TO 4: PATAGONIA NATIONAL PARK Free
days to take advantage of the half-day or full-day excursions organized and offered by the hotel. Services offered by the hotel:
- Two half-day explorations or one full-day exploration with Explora guides, every day;
- Bicycle-riding equipment;
- Trekking equipment;
- Tickets to nature reserves and national parks;
- Access to leisure areas;
- Wi-Fi in common areas.
DAY 5: PATAGONIA NATIONAL PARK - BALMACEDA
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Regular shuttle of about 6 hours to Balmaceda airport.
Remarks:
- The transfer between Patagonia National Park and Balmaceda can be taken by plane (optional and not included) to save time. Consult us.
- Regular transfers take place at pre-determined times.
- Arrival transfer: Balmaceda Airport (BBA): transfers available between 9:40 and 10:30am. If the travelers' arrival time does not match the transfers, an overnight stay in Coyhaique is recommended.
- Departure transfer: Balmaceda Airport (BBA): transfers available between 7 am and 8 am.
