DAY 1: BEIJING Upon arrival
in Beijing, capital of China, reception and private transfer to the hotel for accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 2: BEIJING
Breakfast at the hotel and private full-day Beijing city tour. Visit Tian An Men Square, one of the largest public squares in the world and home to the Great Hall of the People and the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong, and the Summer Palace, a complex of palaces and gardens on the shores of Lake Kunming.
Then, visit the Imperial Palace, known as “the Forbidden City”, a large complex of traditional Chinese architecture with 980 buildings, housing a vast collection of historical and cultural artifacts. It was also the residence of the Chinese emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for nearly 500 years.
After lunch at a local restaurant (without drinks), visit the Temple of Heaven, where the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties offered sacrifices and asked for good harvests. It is famous for its Hall of Prayer for the Good Harvest, a three-story round wooden building without a single nail in its construction.
Finally, take a tour of the Night Market, where foods such as starfish, silk cocoons, scorpions, and centipedes are sold.
DAY 3: BEIJING
After breakfast at the hotel, private full-day tour ending at the Great Wall, China's most famous postcard. Visit to the Lamas Temple, also known as Yonghegong, it is considered the most important Tibetan Buddhist temple that exists outside of Tibet, in addition to being one of the most popular religious centers in Beijing.
Then, stop by the Beijing Olympic Village, with a photo stop at the Bird's Nest (National Stadium) and the Water Cube (National Swimming Center). Lunch at a local restaurant (without drinks).
In the afternoon, visit the Great Wall, an imposing building in a mountainous landscape accessed by the Mutianyu road.
DAY 4: BEIJING/XIAN
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. In the morning, visit the Summer Palace, built by Emperor Qianlong. After lunch (not included), walk to the Silk Market.
Finally, transfer to the airport to board a flight to Xian. Arrival and private transfer to the hotel for accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
Xian, capital of eleven dynasties and formerly considered the second largest city in the world, is the point of origin of numerous caravans that traveled the paths between East and West, the famous Silk Road.
DAY 5: XIAN
After breakfast at the hotel, private full-day tour of the main tourist sights of Xian. Visit the famous Terracotta Warrior Museum, which houses a collection of 8,000 life-size statues representing a large army of warriors, horses, and cars that guarded the tomb of Emperor Qin. Lunch at a local restaurant (without drinks).
In the afternoon, visit the Xian Wall, one of the most preserved in all of China. With a length of 14 km and a height of 12 m, it remains the subject of study because it is an example of ancient construction techniques.
Continue to the famous Muslim Quarter, where the Great Mosque of Xi'an is located, an example of a mix between Chinese and Muslim architectural styles.
DAY 6: XIAN/GUILIN
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private airport transfer for boarding a flight to Guilin. Arrival and private transfer to the hotel for accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 7: GUILIN
After breakfast at the hotel, visit a karst-forming cave in the region with stalactites and stalagmites. Time for lunch (not included).
In the afternoon, private ferry ride along the Li River, which enjoys a worldwide reputation for “sovereign beauty”, with vertical hills cut by rivers and caves. If it is not possible to take this tour, a boat trip across the city's 4 lakes will take place.
DAY 8: GUILIN/SHANGHAI
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private transfer to the airport to board a flight to Shanghai, a port city with more than 16 million inhabitants and also home to the largest port, commercial center and most international metropolis in China.
Arrival and private transfer to the hotel for accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 9: SHANGHAI
After breakfast at the hotel, private panoramic city tour. Visit the Longhua Temple and Yuyuan Garden, a magnificent garden built in 1557 by a city official named Yu.
After lunch at a local restaurant (without drinks), tour the Bund area, a region filled with historic buildings on the banks of the Huangpu River in Shanghai, ending in the area known as Xiantiandi, consisting of restored old streets and several commercial establishments.
DAY 10: SHANGHAI
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day for independent activities.
DAY 11: SHANGHAI/HONG KONG
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Private airport transfer for boarding a flight to Hong Kong. Arrival and private transfer to the hotel for accommodation for 3 nights.
DAY 12: HONG KONG
After breakfast at the hotel, walking and public transport tour of the city of Hong Kong.
Transfer to Kowloon Pier to board a ferry to Hong Kong Island. Continue to Central Market to take the famous stairs and treadmills to the 800 m long Mid-Levels, which serve as an important means of transportation in the city. Walk down Caine Road, one of the most glamorous streets in the city, followed by Hollywood Road and Lascar Row to discover the region's antique dealers and shops.
Transfer by tram way (streetcar system) to the Lan Kwai Fong district, known for its restaurants and nightlife. Then transfer by bus to Victoria Peak, a viewpoint with wonderful views of the city.
Finally, transfer by bus to the hotel and free afternoon to enjoy the city.
DAY 13: HONG KONG
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day for independent activities.
DAY 14: HONG KONG
After breakfast at the hotel and check-out, transfer to the airport.
