DAY 1: BEIJING
Arrival in Beijing and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 2: BEIJING
After breakfast at the hotel, city tour. Visit the Imperial Palace, known as “The Forbidden City”, a large complex of traditional Chinese architecture with 980 buildings, which houses a vast collection of historical and cultural artifacts. It was also the imperial residence of the Chinese emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for nearly 500 years. Stop for lunch at a traditional restaurant with a show and optional typical clothing (without drinks).
In the afternoon, continue to the Temple of Heaven, where the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties offered sacrifices and asked for good harvests. It is famous for its Hall of Prayer for the Good Harvest, a three-story round wooden building without a single nail in its construction.
DAY 3: BEIJING
Breakfast at the hotel and tour of China's largest postcard: the Great Wall, an imposing building in a mountainous landscape accessed by the Mutianyu road.
Passage (without admission) through the Bird's Nest (National Stadium) and the Water Cube (National Swimming Center). Then lunch at a local restaurant (no drinks).
In the evening, welcome dinner to sample Beijing's famous lacquered duck at a 1* Michelin restaurant.
DAY 4: BEIJING - XIAN
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Tour to the Summer Palace, a palace and garden complex on the shores of Lake Kunming, and stop for lunch at a local restaurant (excluding drinks).
In the afternoon, departure to Xian on a bullet train capable of reaching 350 km/h. Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 5: XIAN
After breakfast at the hotel, tour of the city. Visit the Terracotta Warriors Museum, which houses a collection of 8,000 life-size statues representing a large army of warriors, horses, and cars that guarded the tomb of Emperor Qin. Lunch at a local restaurant (no drinks).
In the afternoon, panoramic visit to the Great Wild Goose Pagoda (admission not included).
In the evening, stroll along the Great Tang All Day, an extensive pedestrian street of more than 1,500 meters, located south of the Great Wild Goose.
DAY 6: XIAN/ZhangJiaJie
Breakfast and check-out. Transfer to board a flight to Zhangjiajie.
Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 7: zhangjiajie
Breakfast at the hotel and full-day tour of Zhangjiajie National Park with a visit to the Bailong Elevator, which is 326 meters high to contemplate the panoramic landscape of the Yuanjiajie Nature Reserve, where the hill that inspired “Hallelujah Mountain” in the movie “Avatar” is located.
Visit Tianzi Mountain, famous for the Tujia minority rebellion that took place there. Lunch stop at a local restaurant (no drinks).
DAY 8: ZHANGJIAJIE/SHANGHAI
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Visit Tianmen Mountain, 1500 meters high, and take a cable car to hike the Glass Way, built on a cliff, with a 393-meter footbridge suspended at 360 meters. Lunch at a local restaurant (no drinks).
Transfer to the airport to board a flight to Shanghai, a metropolis with over 16 million inhabitants and the largest port and commercial center in China. Arrival and transfer to the hotel for accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 9: SHANGHAI
After breakfast at the hotel, visit the Shanghai Tower, a skyscraper 632 meters high and 118 floors considered the tallest building in China and the second tallest in the world. Lunch stop at a local restaurant (no drinks).
In the afternoon, visit Yuyuan Garden, a magnificent garden built in 1557 by a city official named Yu. Free time on Nanjing Road, Shanghai's most famous pedestrian street.
In the evening, ride aboard a mini cruise along the Huangpu River to enjoy the city's nightlife. Passage through The Bund and the buildings and piers on this part of the route.
DAY 10: SHANGHAI
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Transfer to the airport.
