Discover the Zhangjiajie National Park that inspired “Hallelujah Mountain” in the movie Avatar and the picturesque old city of Furong, with its cliffs and waterfalls in the middle of the city.
DAY 1: ZHANGJIAJIE
Arrival to Zhangjiajie and private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast.
Rest of the day free for independent activities.
DAY 2: ZHANGJIAJIE
Breakfast at the hotel and full-day tour of Zhangjiajie National Park with a visit to the Bailong Elevator, which is 326 meters high to contemplate the panoramic landscape of the Yuanjiajie Nature Reserve, where the hill that inspired “Hallelujah Mountain” in the movie “Avatar” is located.
Visit Tianzi Mountain, famous for the Tujia minority rebellion that took place there. Lunch stop at a local restaurant (no drinks).
DAY 3: ZHANGJIAJIE
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Visit to Tianmen Mountain, 1,500 meters high, and take a cable car to hike the Glass Way, built on a cliff, with a 393-meter footbridge suspended at 360 meters. Lunch at a local restaurant (no drinks).
DAY 4: ZHANGJIAJIE - FURONG
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private transfer to Furong (about 1 hour and 40 minutes).
Arrival and private tour to Furong Ancient Town, known as Hibiscus Village, an ancient village on top of a cliff with a huge waterfall in Yongshun County.
Stop for lunch (without drinks) at a local restaurant.
Continuation to the hotel. Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
DAY 5: FURONG
Breakfast and hotel check-out. Private transfer to Furong Airport.
