Seoul and Busan
DAY 1: SEOUL
Arrival at Incheon airport and meeting with a representative to take a regular shuttle to the hotel.
Accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 2: SEOUL
After breakfast at the hotel, meet the Portuguese-speaking guide at the hotel reception for a full-day tour.
Visit the Namsan Seoul Tower, including a cable car ride to enjoy a panoramic view of Seoul city.
Then, tour the City Hall and Gwanghwamun squares, passing by the statues of Admiral Yi Sun-Sin and King Sejong, important Korean historical figures.
Lunch (without drinks) at a local restaurant on Insadong Street, which has around 100 art galleries surrounding it.
Cultural experience wearing the hanbok, traditional Korean costume, to visit Gyeongbokgung Palace, notable for its traditional architecture, elegant gardens, and historical relevance as the main royal palace of the Joseon Dynasty.
Finally, visit the Myeong-dong neighborhood, Seoul's well-known shopping area and free time for independent activities.
DAY 3: SEOUL
Breakfast and meeting at the hotel reception with the Portuguese-speaking guide for a tour of the border region between North and South Korea, known as the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone).
Visit Imjingak, an important park in Korean history. The tour includes a visit to the Liberty Bridge, the third infiltration tunnel, built during the conflict between the Koreas, the DMZ theater, the Dora Observatory, the Dorasan Station and, finally, the Unification Village.
Lunch (without drinks) at a local restaurant.
Finally, an exhibition dedicated to North Korea, providing a deeper understanding of the region and its historical-political context.
DAY 4: SEOUL - GYEONGJU
After breakfast and check out at the hotel. Transfer to Seoul train station to board the KTX train to Gyeongju, the spiritual and cultural capital of South Korea.
Arrival in Gyeongju and full-day tour with a guide in Portuguese. Visit the Daereungwon Tomb Complex, where it houses ancient Silla dynasty tombs known for their mound shapes and stops at the oldest observatory in the Far East, the Cheomseongdae tower.
Lunch (without drinks) at a local restaurant.
Next, visit the traditional village of Gyeongju Gyochon and the historic Woljeonggyo Bridge. Continue along Hwangnidan-gil shopping street and Donggung Palace and Wolji
Lagoon Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
DAY 5: BusAn
Breakfast and check out at the hotel. Meeting with the Portuguese-speaking guide and transfer to Busan.
Visit the cultural village of Gamcheon, an old neighborhood located on a hill where houses are decorated with beautiful murals and sculptures created by residents.
Lunch at a local restaurant (no drinks).
Then visit Gwangali Beach and Bridge. Return to the hotel and accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 6: BUSAN
Breakfast and meeting at the hotel reception with the Portuguese-speaking guide to visit the Haedong Yonggungsa Temple and the Blueline Sky Capsule, a modern panoramic train that offers views of the city's coastline.
Then, visit the cultural village of Huinnyeoul, accompanied by a tasting of food prepared by Haenyeo or women divers, known for their ability to collect seafood in an artisanal way.
Visit to Casa APEC Nurimaru, an important international conference center, and visit to The Bay 101 yacht club and Haeundae Beach.
DAY 7: BUSAN - SEOUL
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Transfer to the train station to board the KTX train to Seoul.
Upon arrival, transfer to Incheon Airport.
THIS ITINERARY INCLUDES:
- Accommodation for 3 nights in Seoul, with breakfast;
- Accommodation for 1 night in Gyeongju, with breakfast;
- Accommodation for 2 nights in Busan, with breakfast;
- Transfers between the airport/hotel/airport;
- Economy class ticket for the KTX Express train between Seoul-Gyeongju and Busan-Seoul;
- Guided tours in Portuguese, according to the itinerary;
