Seoul

Explore the flavors and traditions of Korea on this 4-day food tour in Seoul.

DAY 1: SEOUL
Arrival in Seoul and private transfer to the hotel for accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast.

In the afternoon, visit the Kimchi Museum. Explore the history and process of how this national fermented chard dish that is present on the Korean table every day is made.

In the evening, stroll the city streets for a culinary discovery of the most famous Korean dishes, such as Korean barbecue, hotteok (sweet bean pancake), sotteok (Vienna sausage kebab and rice balls with a spicy sauce), and many others.


DAY 2: SEOUL
After breakfast at the hotel, take a subway ride to tour the main areas of the city. Walk through the “Hanok” village in Bukchon, also known as “North Village”, which has 900 traditional Korean houses and offers a unique immersion in the era of ancient Korea.

Visit to a traditional tea house for tasting, accompanied by a Korean sweet made with “sticky” rice, the “Tteok”.

Then stop for lunch at a local restaurant to try the famous “Bibimbap”, a traditional dish consisting of rice, meat, vegetables, and fried egg, served with gochujang (chili paste).

In the afternoon, take a class on how to make your own Makgeolli, a wine derived from fermented rice and water.

Continue on foot to Gwangjang Market, one of the most famous street food markets in Seoul. Return to the hotel.


DAY 3: SEOUL
After breakfast at the hotel, morning dedicated to a Korean cooking class. Discover, together with the chef, one of the various kimchi recipes and stroll through the market to receive explanations about the different components of traditional cuisine.

In the afternoon, visit Gyeongbokgung Palace, one of the five palaces of the Joseon Dynasty, including a visit to the National Folk Museum to observe the replicas of historical objects that illustrate the history of traditional life of the Korean people.

Continuation to the Jogyesa Temple, considered one of the most important in the city, and Insadong Street, a vibrant and lively place where precious traditional products are exhibited.

Before dinner, an opportunity to watch the performance “Cookin' Nanta”, a non-verbal comedy animated by the rhythm of kitchen utensils, with a combination of traditional and modern Korean music.

Dinner at a local restaurant.


DAY 4: SEOUL
Breakfast at the hotel and free time for independent activities. Check-out at the hotel and private airport transfer.
