Discover Italy on this 10-day itinerary through Rome, Florence, and Bologna!
DAY 1: ROME
Arrival in Rome and private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
The capital of Italy, Rome, is a city rich in history and culture, more than 2,500 years old and with iconic monuments such as the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. A metropolis where the old coexists in harmony with modernity.
DAY 2: ROME - ASSISI - SIENA - FLORENCE
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Departure to Assisi for a walk through its medieval streets with a visit to the Basilica of San Francisco and the possibility of enjoying panoramic views of the Umbria Valley.
Then continue to Siena, with free time for independent activities before proceeding to Florence.
Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 3: FLORENCE
Breakfast at the hotel and half-day tour of the historic city center, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, where the Baptistery of Saint John, Giotto's Bell Tower and the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore are located.
Return to the hotel and free afternoon for independent activities.
Suggested optional activities (not included):
- Visit to the Uffizi Gallery. Comprised of 90 rooms, it brings together Renaissance masterpieces, including works by Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Raphael.
- Visit the city of Pisa, with its Leaning Tower and Piazza dei Miracoli, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
DAY 4: FLORENCE - BOLOGNA
Breakfast, check out at the hotel and travel to Bologna.
Arrival and half-day walking tour of the city's historic center. Visit the University of Bologna, the oldest and still functioning university in Europe, Piazza Maggiore, where you can find the Palazzo d'Accursio and the Basilica of Saint Petronius.
Continuation of the visit to the Asinelli and Garisenda Towers.
Finally, transfer to the hotel and accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast.
DAY 5: BOLOGNA - MODENA - PARMA - BOLOGNA
After breakfast at the hotel, departure for a full-day tour of the cities of Modena and Parma.
Arrival in Modena and tour its historic center with the Cathedral, the Ghirlandina Tower and Piazza Grande.
Continuation to the city of Parma, a city renowned for its cuisine, and a visit to a traditional cheese factory to learn about the production of Parmigiano Reggiano - includes tasting of different cures accompanied by Prosciutto di Parma DOP.
Return to the hotel in Bologna.
DAY 6: BOLOGNA - RAVENNA - BOLOGNA
After breakfast at the hotel, departure for a half-day tour of the historic center of the city of Ravenna. Visit the Basilica of San Vitale, a church that houses 6th-century mosaics, the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia and the Basilica of San Apollinare Nuovo.
Return to the hotel in Bologna and free afternoon for independent activities.

- Visit to the Ferrari Museum in Maranello and balsamic vinegar tasting.
DAY 7: BOLOGNA - SAN GIMIGNANO - ROME
Breakfast and check out at the hotel, departure to Rome with stop for a walk in San Gimignano.
San Gimignano is a charming medieval town famous for its towers that protected it. It stands out for its beautiful squares and its historic center, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Then, visit a local winery to taste Chianti wine and other typical products of the region.
Continuation to Rome and accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast.
Day 8: ROME
After breakfast at the hotel and a half-day walking tour of the city's main tourist attractions. Visit Piazza Navona, with the Fountain of the Four Rivers, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, a temple dedicated to all the gods of ancient Rome, and the Piazza di Spagna.
Free time for independent activities.

- Visit to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel.
DAY 9: ROME
After breakfast at the hotel, visit the Jewish Quarter of Rome. Established in 1555, it became a confinement area for the Jewish community, where you can find the Synagogue of Rome, in addition to historic streets, restaurants and traditional shops.
Then, tour Trastevere, a neighborhood that developed on the banks of the Tiber River and which preserves narrow streets, squares and churches such as the Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere, recognized as one of the oldest churches in Rome.
Return to the hotel.

- “Ancient Rome” tour, with a visit to the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill.
DAY 10: ROME
Breakfast and check out at the hotel. Transfer to Rome airport or train station.
