Jordan: In Search of Serenity
Amman, Petra, Aqaba

Package for Jordan, passing through the capital Amman, Petra, the city carved in the rocks, and the dramatic landscape of the Jordan Valley.
Day 1: Amman
Arrival at Queen Alia International Airport. Reception, assistance and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast and dinner.
Day 2: Amman - JERASH - AJLOUN - DEAD SEA - Amman
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Jerash.
Jerash has a history of human presence of more than 6500 years, a large and fascinating archaeological site that covers the history of the region from the Neolithic to the Roman Greek centuries, from the Byzantine to the late Muslim period. The ruins are immense and stand out: Hadrian's Arch, the Hippodrome, the Colonnade Street, the Theaters, the Jerash Archaeological Museum, and others.
Continue to Ajloun to visit the castle at 1,250 meters above sea level. It was built by one of Saladin's generals in 1184 A.D. to check local iron mines and prevent Frankish invasions. Ajloun Castle dominated the three main access routes to the Jordan Valley, protecting trade routes between Jordan and Syria. It became an important link in the defense chain against the Crusaders, who tried in vain for decades to invade the castle and the surrounding village. From there, you have incredible views of the Jordan Valley and the surrounding desert.
Then, visit the Dead Sea, where there will be an opportunity to float in its salty and therapeutic waters. The Dead Sea is over 400 meters below sea level. The lowest point on the face of the Earth, this vast expanse of water receives water from several rivers, including the Jordan River. Once the waters reach the Dead Sea and have nowhere to go, they then evaporate, leaving behind a dense and rich combination of salts and minerals that provide industry, agriculture, and medicine with some of their best products.
Return to the hotel for dinner.
Day 3: AMMAN - DESERT CASTLES - KAN ZAMAN - AMMAN
After breakfast at the hotel, departure to visit the Desert Castles, an example of Islamic architecture remaining from the 7th and 8th centuries, inspired by Persian and Greco-Roman tradition. Day 4: AMMAN - MADABA - MOUNT NEBO - KARAK - PETRA

Continue to Mount Nebo, Moses' memorial, located on top of a mountain with a fascinating view of the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, Jericho and Jerusalem.
Then travel to Karak to see the famous Crusader Fortress. The fort itself is a dark maze of vaulted stone corridors and endless passages.

Day 5: PETRA
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to visit Petra, the cradle of the Nabataean people, was founded in 312 BC and became an important axis in the trade routes of silk caravans, incense and spices, which linked China and India to Greece, Rome, Egypt and Syria.
The city came under the sights of the Romans Pompey and Herod, but it only succumbed in about 130, when the emperor Hadrian conquered it. Some time later, with a strong earthquake, the Nabateans left her. Petra was abandoned and forgotten. Only the Bedouins knew how to find her in the desert. Until, in 1812, the Swiss explorer Johann Ludwig Burckhardt, a lover of Muslim culture, impersonated an Arab merchant to gain the trust of the Bedouins. UNESCO describes Petra as a World Heritage Site.
Return to the hotel for dinner.
Day 6: PETRA - WADI RUM - AQABA

Also known as “the Moon Valley”, this is where Prince Faisal Bin Hussein built his base during the Arab revolt against the Ottomans in World War I, and his exploits are intrinsically woven into the history of this incredible area.
