Destination Scandinavia

Explore the natural and cultural attractions of one of the world's most fascinating regions: Scandinavia, comprising Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden.
Scandinavia is a historic and geographical region centered on the Scandinavian Peninsula of Northern Europe. Theoretically, Scandinavia is defined as the three kingdoms that historically shared the Scandinavian Peninsula. Culturally speaking, Iceland, Finland, and the Faroe Islands are now included when referring to “Scandinavia” (Nordic countries).
The climate in Scandinavia, for the most part, is moderate and pleasant, with variations from north to south and west to east. Depending on the destination, the climate may vary from one Scandinavian capital to another, but it can often be said that the temperate climate of Scandinavia is sunny and mild in summer and chilly in the winter months. The most extreme temperatures are in the Arctic Circle region.
The cities of Scandinavia are wonderful destinations for all visitors who want an interesting and modern urban life. The capitals of the Scandinavian countries are Stockholm (Sweden), Oslo (Norway), Copenhagen (Denmark) and Helsinki (Finland). Other famous destinations include the Norwegian city of Bergen and Malo and Gothenburg, Sweden.
Scandinavia has a total population of over 24 million.
