New Year's Eve in South Africa

Day 1 (27/12/2026 - SUNDAY): JOHANNESBURG
Arrival at Johannesburg airport and private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.

Departure for a private half-day tour of the city, with a guide in Portuguese, starting with Sandton, the financial and commercial center of Johannesburg, passing through Rosebank and Houghton, with a visit to the Nelson Mandela Foundation, a center dedicated to the preservation of his legacy and located in the residence where Mandela lived his last years.

Then, stop at the Munro Drive viewpoint to enjoy the panoramic views of the north of the city and visit Constitution Hill, highlighting the architecture of the Constitutional Court, and the Old Fort, a former prison that played a fundamental role in the struggle for freedom in the country.

Departure to the cultural neighborhood of Newtown, with passes through Braamfontein and the Nelson Mandela Bridge. Visit the Main Street Precinct, an open-air museum that celebrates the history of gold mining, with a visit to Gandhi Square and the historic Standard Bank complex.

Finally, visit the Booysens region, where you can see the Gold Reef City Complex, which includes a theme park, casino and attractions linked to the history of South African mining. Upon returning to the hotel, a panoramic stop at the FNB Stadium, famous for hosting the final of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.


2nd day (28/12/2026 - Monday): JOHANNESBURG/HOEDSPRUIT - ANIMAL
RESERVE Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private airport transfer for boarding to Hoedspruit (flight not included). Arrival at the airport and shared transfer to the safari lodge in the Kruger National Park region. Accommodation for 2 nights, with full board.

Depending on the time of arrival at the lodge, lunch and in the late afternoon, departure for a photographic safari. A qualified guide provides an introduction to African fauna and flora (explanations in English).

In the evening, have dinner at the lodge.


3rd day (29/12/2026 - Tuesday): ANIMAL
RESERVE At a time determined by the lodge, a coffee or tea is served before leaving in a 4×4 vehicle for the safari. The open vehicle provides a complete wildlife experience, allowing you to observe the animals, hear them, and smell the African bush. The absence of windows and the vehicle's elevated position allow for excellent photographic opportunities during the safari. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Free time to relax or enjoy the lodge. Lunch will also be served at the lodge.

In the afternoon, departure for the second safari of the day. Return to the lodge for dinner.


Day 4 (30/12/2026 - WEDNESDAY): ANIMAL RESERVE/CAPE TOWN
After the safari very early in the morning, return to the lodge for breakfast and check out. Then, shared transfer to the airport to board a flight (not included) to Cape Town.

Arrival and private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 5 nights, with breakfast.


Day 5 (31/12/2026 - Thursday): CAPE TOWN
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for a private half-day tour of the city, with a guide in Portuguese.

Visit to the famous Table Mountain, a place with spectacular views of the city and the bay (includes the ticket for the cable car to access Table Mountain, whose visit depends on the weather conditions on the day).

Then, stop by the “Greenmarket Square” flea market, the Company's Gardens in the city center, past the “Slave Lodge”, St. George's Parliament and Cathedral, the Castle of Good Hope, and the colorful Bo Kaap Malay neighborhood, with its quaint houses and mosques.

In the evening, New Year's Eve dinner.


Day 6 (01/01/2027 - Friday): CAPE TOWN
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day for independent activities.

Suggested activities (not included):

• Visit the Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden for a relaxing walk and enjoy the local flora;
• Visit the Zeitz MOCAA Museum of Contemporary Art for an enriching cultural experience;
• Spend the afternoon at Camps Bay beach, enjoying the sun and the sea;
• Explore the V&A Waterfront for luxury shopping and dining at one of the gourmet restaurants;
• Take a self-guided tour of the historic Bo-Kaap neighborhood, famous for its colorful houses.

Day 7 (02/01/2027 - Saturday): CAPE TOWN
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for a private full-day tour to the Cape of Good Hope, with a guide in Portuguese.

Arrival and boarding by funicular to climb the Cape Point viewpoint, where it will be possible to admire the view where the Atlantic and Indian oceans meet.

Along the way, visit Boulders Beach, a beach where a colony of African penguins resides. The animals can be observed up close, walking around freely.

Lunch (without drinks) at a local restaurant.

Return to the hotel via Chapman's Peak Drive (weather permitting), with views of blue water and white sand beaches such as Hout Bay, Camps Bay, and Clifton.


Day 8 (03/01/2027 - SUNDAY): CAPE TOWN
After breakfast, private full-day tour to the wine region, with a guide in Portuguese.

Start with a visit to the city of Franchhoek, a French colony where the first French immigrants, the “Huguenots”, settled.

Then, a panoramic visit to the city of Stellenbosch, one of the oldest cities in the Cape region, where the grape, “Pinotage”, a well-known and tasty South African variety, was created. The tour includes a stop for wine tasting at two prestigious wineries in the region and lunch (without drinks).


9th day (04/01/2027 - Monday): CAPE TOWN
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private airport transfer.
