A 9-day itinerary exploring vibrant Cape Town, tasting Franschhoek wines and experiencing an authentic South African safari, the Kwandwe reserve.
Day 1: CAPE TOWN
Arrival at Cape Town airport and private transfer to the hotel. Accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast.
Located at the southern tip of Africa, in the province of Western Cape, the city has a unique mix of culture, modern, refined and dynamic architecture, in addition to its very welcoming people.
Day 2 and 3: CAPE TOWN
Breakfast at the hotel and free day for independent activities.

- Cape Town half-day tour, including a visit to the iconic Table Mountain (note: Table Mountain will be closed for maintenance between 28/07/2025 and 03/08/2025);
- Cape of Good Hope full-day tour.
Day 4: CAPE TOWN - FRANSCHHOEK
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Private transfer of about 1 hour to the hotel in Franschhoek. Accommodation for 2 nights at La Clé Franschhoek, with breakfast.
La Clé is a boutique inn in a valley surrounded by mountains and famous for its quality wines. Located on one of the oldest streets in the village, the property occupies historic buildings that are over 300 years old, providing an authentic and welcoming environment. With easy access to wineries, restaurants, and cultural attractions, La Clé is the perfect base for exploring the region's rich heritage.
The inn has five Cape Dutch-style suites, with characteristic South African architecture, with simple and elegant decoration, in addition to cozy common spaces. Guests can enjoy meals at shared tables and relax in outdoor areas, which offer views of manicured gardens, swimming pool and vineyards. The experience is enriched by a tranquil environment, perfect for enjoying the natural beauty and vibrant atmosphere of Franschhoek.
Day 5: FRANSCHHOEK
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day for independent activities, to explore the wineries and local cuisine.
Day 6: FRANSCHHOEK/PORT Elizabeth - BOOK KWANDWE
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Private transfer to Cape Town airport to board a flight (not included) to Port Elizabeth airport. Arrival and private transfer to the Kwandwe reserve lodge, which houses five award-winning lodges and villas, each with its charm and unique character. Accommodation for 3 nights, with full board.
Depending on the time of arrival at the lodge, the first safari may take place in the late afternoon. An English-speaking guide provides an introduction to African fauna and flora. After enjoying the sunset, it's time to turn on the flashlights and continue the safari looking for animals with nocturnal habits.
Return to the lodge for dinner.
Day 7 and 8: BOOK KWANDWE
Soon at dawn, departure by vehicle (4×4) for safari. The open vehicle allows for a full wildlife experience, with time not only to see the animals, but also to hear them and smell the African bush. The absence of windows and the vehicle's elevated position allow for excellent photographic opportunities during the safari. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Free time to relax or enjoy the lodge.
In the afternoon, departure for the second safari of the day. Return to the lodge for dinner.
DAY 9: BOOK KWANDWE - PORT ELIZABETH
Breakfast at the lodge and check out. Private transfer to Port Elizabeth airport.
