Discover the beauty of South Africa on this 9-day itinerary.
Day 1: JOHANNESBURG
Arrival at Johannesburg airport and private transfer in Portuguese to the hotel. Accommodation for 1 night, with breakfast.
Day 2: JOHANNESBURG/KRUGER NATIONAL PARK REGION
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Private transfer in Portuguese to the airport for boarding a flight (not included) to Hoedspruit. Arrival and regular transfer to the lodge in the Kruger National Park region. Accommodation for 2 nights, with full board.
Depending on the time of arrival at the lodge, the first safari may take place in the late afternoon. An English-speaking guide provides an introduction to African fauna and flora. After enjoying the sunset, it's time to turn on the flashlights and continue the safari looking for animals with nocturnal habits.
Return to the lodge for dinner.
Day 3: KRUGER
NATIONAL PARK REGION At dawn, departure by vehicle (4×4) for safari. The open vehicle allows for a full wildlife experience, with time not only to see the animals, but also to hear them and smell the African bush. The absence of windows and the vehicle's elevated position allow for excellent photographic opportunities during the safari. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Free time to relax or enjoy the lodge.
In the afternoon, departure for the second safari of the day. Return to the lodge for dinner.
Day 4: KRUGER NATIONAL PARK REGION/CAPE TOWN - FRANSCHHOEK
After the safari early in the morning, return to the lodge for breakfast and check out. Regular transfer to Hoedspruit airport to board a flight (not included) to Cape Town. Arrival and private transfer with guide in Portuguese to the hotel in Franschhoek. Accommodation for 2 nights, with breakfast.
Free afternoon for independent activities.
Day 5: FRANSCHHOEK
After breakfast, private full-day tour of the Stellenbosch & Franschhoek winery region, including a stop for wine tasting and lunch (excluding drinks) at a local restaurant.
Visit the city of Stellenbosch, one of the oldest cities in the Cape region, where the “Pinotage” grape, a well-known and tasty South African grape, was created. He then passed through Franchhoek, a French colony where the first French immigrants, the “Huguenots”, settled.
Day 6: FRANSCHHOEK - CAPE TOWN
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private transfer in Portuguese to the hotel in Cape Town. Accommodation for 3 nights, with breakfast.
Free afternoon for independent activities.
Day 7: CAPE TOWN
Breakfast at the hotel. Half-day private tour of Cape Town, with a guide in Portuguese. This tour explores the city of Cape Town, with the opportunity to visit Table Mountain, one of the seven new wonders of the world, which offers spectacular views of the city and the bay (includes the ticket for the cable car to access Table Mountain, whose visit depends on the weather conditions on the day).
The tour passes through the vibrant flea market, known as Greenmarket Square; The Company's Garden, located in the center of the city of Cape Town; the old Slave Lodge, the Parliament and the St. Georges Cathedral. Then, stop by the Castle of Good Hope, ending with a stop in the Bo Kaap Malay neighborhood, with its colorful houses and picturesque mosques.
Note: Table Mountain will be closed for maintenance between 28/07/2025 and 03/08/2025.
Day 8: CAPE TOWN
Breakfast at the hotel. Full-day private tour to the Cape of Good Hope.
This tour allows you to take beautiful photographs and enjoy wonderful landscapes. The first stop is at Hout Bay, with the option of a ride to an island inhabited by a cape seal colony. Then stop at Chapman's Peak (weather permitting) to visit the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, where you have the opportunity to walk or take the cable car and climb up to the old lighthouse to enjoy the view of the famous False Bay. Then, drive to the city of Simon's Town, home of the South African Navy, including visiting the famous African penguin colony Boulder Beach.
Day 9: CAPE TOWN
Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private transfer with a guide in Portuguese to Cape Town airport.
